POSTAL 2

Great game. However the GOG version is missing the native Mac and Linux ports for some reason (just like many other GOG games), unlike Steam version. If you are on a Mac or Linux, I recommend buying the Steam version instead.

The game is not updated to the newest one as it is on steam (v5025) instead, it is only 5023 when you launch the game, even though it is stated in the patch notes on GoG that it is 5024... Waste of money for me, I've wanted to play with the community patches created for 5025.

I played this game 2 years ago so many times but i lost it somewhere in my old house now im here en seeing this great deal for only $9,99 GREAT, This game is so nice it is vilonet yeah but its great nice nice game.

The fun I've had playing Postal 2 is well worth the price even 4 or 5 times over (losing my disks and all). Mindless, violent, and crass humor flesh out a story of a regular guy who can frequently go "postal" whenever he likes becoming a serial flasher, killer, pet murderer, and otherwise naughty guy. The missions that each day presents are a glimpse into a perversion of "real" life hassle and stress and gives you the option to blow away the annoying bank teller, or the overtly racially stereotyped middle-eastern convenience store clerk. The later levels and expansions make it a laugh riot when the Postal Dude calls out during an episode "Not the Garys...anything but the Garys..." as you fight off a wave of demonic Gary Colemans. 5/5 stars for humor, playability, and sadistic glee. I would dock a star for the loading times but it gives me enough time to hop up and get a beer or whatnot in between areas.

This is an incredible game, and even though it was made on a shoestring budget in an old engine, the realism of the environment and interactivity is incredible. It doesn't have fancy graphics, but it's fine for what it is. Mindless fun, and a great stress reliever, but don't be surprised when you start looking at your daily chores differently after playing this game. To get the full enjoyment out of the game, you NEED the AWP mod, which you can find on MODDB. I know most games don't need mods to be enjoyable, but without that mod the game just doesn't feel complete.
