PolyClassic: Wild - fun and hardcore first-person shooter.
This game is an action game that combines elements of the classic retro shooter and low poly styling. The player's task is to destroy all enemies that come across on the way.

GAME LOCATION

The game takes place in a location made in the style of the Wild West.

ARMS

The player has different types of weapons at his disposal: a pistol, a shotgun, a double-barreled gun, a minigun, a hammer and a laser cannon. Each level provides for a certain type of weapon available to the player.

ENEMIES

Evil cowboys with various abilities will fight against the player. Some carry powerful shotguns, while others carry flamethrowers. Well, there are those who run fast and attack you in close combat. But don't think that everything is that simple! Each of the opponents is dangerous.

GOG should be ashamed

This is a blatent asset-flip. That isn't an insult towards people that use pre-made assets, god knows I've used some when taking part in game jams. But the difference between those and this is that (typically) people that use assets have added their own personal touch in other ways, whether that's mixing some asset packs, or unique gameplay that the asset pack doesn't give. This has none of that. GOG, you claim games on your store are hand-picked. I cannot think of a reason that feels anywhere near reasonable for this being on the store.

Disappointing

This is just an asset flip, where someone buys models and textures that are premade and slaps them together and calls it a game. I work in game development and this isn't even something I would consider a game.

20 minutes of content

I don't even care that it's an asset flip, what's worse is that none of the elements come together, Visually, sonically, the game design, the enemies, none of it has any cohesion to it. Having absurdly fast movement with precision aiming that you need to slow down for... isn't a great mix. It kind of came together at the end with that giant boss enemy, because you can actually aim at that kind of target while moving super fast. I'd bet this was more coincidental though rather than intentional and good enemy design. Enemies just run at you in a train fashion, making it easy to drop them one by one. I guess I appreciate the sub challenges which sort of encourage you to play in certain ways. The absolute worst thing about this is the price. This game should be free, or maybe MAYBE a dollar if they added just a bit more content. As it is, this price is a borderline scam. I beat the game in around 20 minutes, that's including the sub challenges. No incentive to replay it, nothing other than the six levels, just absurd pricing. Thank god I got this in a bundle.
