Definitive Serious Point-and-Click

While LucasArts may have popularized this style of game with Maniac Mansion, it was Sierra that refined it into what we expect today. The Police Quest series is the definitive example, in my opinion, simply because I found it to suffer the least from "rub random object on random object" solution seeking.

Tough, instructive and cool

I always though that this series from Sierra was a bit more difficult than most other adventure game series. The topics of the games were way more serious too. Police Quest 1 was (according to its creator) actually used for instruction purposes. If you're gonna play, be sure to check all your tires before exiting the station :).

Great Old Games

I never got to play the entire series back in the day and now is my chance thanks to GOG. I loved the Police Quest I did play (2 I think it was) and really wish there were adventure/sim type police games still made today.
