Not exactly pinball

Something's missing here. Oh yeah...traditional drains, plungers, bumpers or anything that makes this interesting. Sure, the tables are colorful, but they are sparse and poorly designed. The music is grating after a few minutes. While there are interesting diversions on each table and the ability to move between them is good, you'll be repeatedly banging on your shift keys to repeatedly go up a certain ramp to do so. It's a good idea executed poorly.

No. Just no.

Please don't buy this game if you're into flippers / pinball games. You will be very disappointed, since the "tables" miss absolutely everything and believe me, you won't have any fun playing them.

Pinball on a global scale

Probably the most ambitious of 21st Century's pinball games, Pinball World has a LOT of tables on it, plus a neat meta-game where you can travel between tables with a variety of transportation, from planes to boats to underground tunnels. Tables are varied and interesting, loads of bonuses to unlock. My biggest complaint, though, is that the main tables don't have very much to do in them. The bonus tables behave a bit more like traditional pinball, and have a fair amount of bonuses and places to rack up points, but the main tables probably only have 3 or 4 bonuses to each of them, and they're not always very easy to reach. That said, if you're starving for more 21st Century pinball, this is far from the worst you can get. (Now, GOG, if you're listening: can you get us Slam Tilt Pinball?)

Terrible game

It's got a ball and there are flippers; sadly that doesn't mean you're going to find a pinball game. Awful graphics, naff sound and no excitement whatsoever. Avoid this one as it's just terrible.

Pointless?

There's only one song, it's very short, and loops about 40 times in 5 minutes. Fine, turn off the sound. Then there's just... no pinball there, you don't really do much except aim for the part that triggers a minigame and hope you don't miss forcing you do retry over and over. I see the basic concept which is kinda cool, it's just executed incredibly poorly
