Incredible soundtrack

Another incredible soundtrack by Justin Bell. My only gripe is that you can't buy this without purchasing the game. "To play this game you also need Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire" - eh, it's not a game :( Any chance of removing this restriction so that I can give you my money?

Good Deal

I was originally dissapointed that this wasn't included with the game, but I decided to buy it anyways. The fact it comes in mp3 and flac is really nice, but the real selling point is that it has 45 songs on it. I love the soundtrack, and it's definitely worth the price

Good soundtrack

The soundtrack is superb, but I miss the days when GOG gave soundtracks and other goodies by default when you bought a game. Granted, it was with old games, but it was even the whole point of one of their commercial videos. Still, the soundtrack is really good, so on its own, that would merit 5 stars.

Great Thematic Instrumental Music.

For those who imagine themselves happily listening to Deadfire's instrumental music while performing any number of different activities in life, this a great purchase. It is stuck at four because there are obvously some who dislike this type of musicl, think do I. Those who choose to begrudge a small video game studio/publisher's desire to make money may want to also look elsewhere, feel do I. Why those souls choose to think/feel that way is beyond the understanding of mine; 'Cause the game is very well made game well worth it's A.A.A. cost. Do they think musicians work for free? However, whatever profit Obsidian does make is reinvested in future games. That is generally how capitalism works, and Free Markets, with abundant competition, elevates more souls out of poverty than any other economic system. Thus even more and greater success, is prayed for by me. So they can make games faster, and more of them such as Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Archipelago. As for taste, it would have been better if their composer used a Glass Harmonica and a Theremin, believe do I.

An Isometric Game..... that lags?...

If you know anything about Obsidian's development history, you should not be surprised that it was Obsidian that finally succeeded in making an ISOMETRIC title stutter and lag on modern hardware. This feat should not be underestimated. I have a 3080ti. I can run Cyberpunk at full frames and this isometric game... stutters. Worse still I googled this problem and it is a KNOWN issue, one Obsidian is either unwilling or unable to address. To put into perspective how monumental of a fail this is, it's akin to making an addition problem that would eat up all the memory in a scientific graphing calculator. It is seriously and with zero sarcasm amazing and I literally have no idea how they acheived it but maybe that's why they're Obsidian and I'm just some guy. Also in line with Obsidian all the writing and pretty much everything else in this game is 10/10. It gets a 2/5 because this sin is simply so lazy, so unecessary and so egregious. Seriously, an isometric title that lags... what next, an Oregan Trail game that bricks my computer? Makes me really worried about Avowed. If they could not make an ISOMETRIC title that runs smoothly, just how atrocious will their AAA graphics 3D title run?....
