Captain your ship across the seas – as your stronghold on the seas, your ship is much more than simply a vessel for exploring. Upgrade your ship and crew and choose what skills you improve in order to survive dangerous encounters along the way.
I have no idea why people give this game high scores. The turn based mode is awful and the normal mode isnt any better than their first game. The only interesting things that happen during combat is when the AI decide to be unpredictible due to bad pathing or decisionmaking.
The quests, politics and story could have been written by anyone that watches Hollywood tv shows. Im sorry, but this isnt interesting or fun.
Why does this game run so poorly? Why is it so poorly balanced? Why are there so many bland or otherwise pointless skills bloating out the skill trees (especially when most of them are shared across classes).
Every patch has made the game worse in some respect. Obsidian really has no clue what to do with their RPGs.
short review is
it kind fun at first , but it gets none sence ..... why
Skills are not that good to help you fighting
if you are a fan of Divinity Original Sin 2 or Baldur Gate 3 , so no this is not for you
ok what i liked about it is
visuals
explorations
story
music
and thats it .....
ok what is the worst part ??
well
- the Gameplay itself , i cant feel the fighting , i can't even what to do to fight
- the Ui is so hard and boring and not easy to understand !!
- i can't use skills ( or i dont even know how to use it )
- you only got one action point :D :D :D
-you dont know how to level up . you know kinda like in Divinity you spent points depends on your charecter skills and weapons ..etc
-the world is not open and it's not big to explore like Baldur and Divinity .
- you dont have much to do to level up and use a USELESS Skills .
i'm not gonna delete it , just leave it as it is once i dont have anything to do .
i'm heading back to Baldurs Gate 3 or Divinity .
This is my first review to any game ever, so I will try to explain what's wrong with the game as carefully as my bad English allows me to. I would like to start with the good, bright side - combat is good, challenging and interesting, background picture is nice, overall visuals are good. That's it. Nothing else good to be said whatsover about this game! PoE1 was mediocre (would give 3 stars) but this game is even vorse. So, what's wrong with it? Well, to be short and blutant, the world of this game is plastic, it is EXTREMELY politically correct and you can feel presence of SJW invisible hand over everything related to plot. Can you imagine a brutal, warrying world, where leaders of pirates, bandits and military fleets are women? Here and there, yes, why not? Well, in this game we have about 90% percents of every leader women. Wonderful people, fighting for social justice exceeded even what it is said as to be a goal in our technological world - 50%. I cannot believe what I see. I cannot feel this world - it is unreal, it is as it SHOULD BE, it is NOT AS IT IS, plastic and made up. Real people do not behave like this. Women, with some exceptions, are not exceling in war and banditry. You can feel, that there was some premade statement, what this game should represent and what values it should bring, not like "ok, now we made superb story, let's see if it is not too violent and obeys most criminal laws in countries where we gonna sell the game".
Main story is worse than bad, it is idiotic. You will discover, that actually, there were no actual reason to chase that sickly green character as it is inherently good and you cannot defeat him anyways.
As it was said in other reviews, characters with their sidequests are worse than in PoE1 - I can't remember a single name exept Eder. I am not joking!
What about freeing a mighty dragon, which brakes a palace's roof to fly away and then you see that nothing has changed in the city - not even a roof is broken!
