Pid

Pros: * fun puzzle platformer with the gravity gameplay mechanic * cool music and graphics * cool plot, story parts aren't overly long, doesn't try to be cinematic, there's just enough story to make me care about what I'm doing Cons: * the gravity thing is kind of old hat, Pid doesn't do anything new with it * the player moves really slow * as the game moves on the puzzles get really frustrating in their need for precision. Imagine using gravity wells on moving platforms while avoiding spikes * as a result of the above, death happens often and sets you back pretty far sometimes I'd give this 3.5 stars if I could. I played for about 7 hours then quit, the mechanically monotone gameplay and frequent deaths got to be too much. It was a real fun game up until then. I wish I could just go to easy mode to finish the story, but the game has no difficulty modes.

I spend 32 hous on this. And will add the same time again in future. It`s my alltime favourite. Yes i wanted to give up 100 times. But after a break i mastered the challenge. So it was never unfair. Considered how old is this game and that it is totally underrated i got to say this. If you have only time for one plattformer in your life, you found your one and only. Its hard but amazing. Sound Design and gameplay is just prefect. But it take some time to see the end. And you get it everywhere almost for free. The creator must be a genius. I was released 2012 just to remind.

I will not expand on expiclaciones, but at the graph, plot, music, everything is in a perfect balance of quality and originality.

This game has me mixed with emotions and I love it. From level to level I will go from delighted by the visuals and clever puzzles to absolutely livid because of difficulty. But this game was spectacular and would definitely recommend a playthrough.

Visually appealing and with a cool core concept and a soundtrack that builds a genuine atmosphere, PID is ultimately an infuriatingly designed experience that only gets progressively more frustrating as the game goes on. Cannot in good conscience recommend.
