Not compatible anymore
I remember this game as excellent, but unfortunately it doesn't work on Windows 10 - even in compatibility mode it hangs every couple of minutes and has to be killed via Task Manager.

Buggy but fun
Title basically says it all. It's a fun game with a lot of neat mechanics and a lot going on. Too bad the AI is so ass that you have to actively plan your city around buggy AI to minimize the possibility that your citizens will shit themselves. Why hasn't this ever been fixed?

Doesn't fully pass the test of time
First off: Technically the game is nearly flawless. It is a really nice city builder set in ancient Egypt with unique mechanics. The controls are a bit clunky, but never annoying. It has a nice artstyle and a lot of things to do. I really liked most things in this game. What I didn't like, is the way the game communicates with you. As someone who hasn't played the game, when it was new, and is used to more modern (and mostly better) UIs, it is quite hard to get into the game. Many of my mistakes in this game are due to the old UI. This is also the reason why I only played about 8 hours of this game. I maybe come back to this game one day and maybe I will have more fun then, but for now i cannot give more than three stars.

Best game to give the "Y" Gen, let them work it out... Great to get back to a classic and know it hasn't any ADD's.. Thanx Guys at GOG.. Oh, play the open game, and see how many ships you can build...?
