Pharaoh + Cleopatra

I was 10 when I first played this masterpiece and I still play it from time to time. I could never find a better Ancient Egypt themed city builder game. The graphics are great for it's time.

I helped beta test Cleopatra, Zeus and Children of the Nile, Tilted Mill games put out fantastic city builders. Us regulars to the games always hoped they would make more historical games, but after the China setting none materialized. Sadness. I loved the Pharoah games, but if you want an even better ancient Egypt city builder, get Children of the Nile. All the wonkiness of the original game was corrected or removed.

Every time i played this game i found out something new there is so much detail in this game and i have spent way too many hours playing it i think ill get it again and spend all my time building that perfect city and getting those fantastic manors :D

A Classic i brought on GOG that I still have the CD for it, I (and my brother) played it so much my poor CD eventually Died so when i saw GOG had it was a no Brainer :D For the review: Interesting City Builder endless modes can be fun you can see how you survive in a harsh place or take it easy and build how you want Or you could for a "Family" and take your line through the Coarse of a history (not sure how acurate of a history it is but still) starting out as a little farm village manager to the grand viser and eventualy becoming pharoh yourself A Few Bugs to deal with such as hunters can't find food even though the animals are right near them -.- but that is very rare to see Overall 9.5/10

Superb, now and upon release. The countless positive reviews exist exactly because this game is easily 100 hours of your life -and memorable hours -long after you've moved away to other titles. Lacks the magnificent colour palette and camp voice-overs of Zeus, arguably the best Impressions title, but still Ptah after all these years.
