Description
The Lord of Nothing is the fifth premium DLC for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, wrapping up the story of the second DLC, Through the Ashes. Explore new and unique locations, make new friends, and face a powerful demon lord in order to bring Sendri and Rekarth's story to its long-awaited finale. The outcome of your adventure — and for the characters, depends solely on you and your choices. After all, there are more than five unique endings in the DLC.

In The Lord of Nothing DLC you will have to survive frozen lands, uncover the secrets of a mysterious wizard's tower, help some Kellids in blooming caves, and even delve into the Shadow Plane! But you won't be alone: an angel of Sarenrae with a tragic past and a captivating new android companion will join you as you confront the evil flourishing in the remote corners of Golarion. And don’t think your commander is being left out — a new quest and dungeon will be available to complete in the fifth chapter of the base game.

Continue your journey with a character from Through the Ashes DLC or create a new one: 15 new archetypes, new spells and new feats await you. All of these will also be available in the main campaign when creating a new character or retraining one.

A good conclusion with some extras

This was an enjoyable conclusion to Through the Ashes. The Lord of Nothing is not as tightly scripted as it's predecessor and feels more like playing the base campaign, which I think most players will be happy with. You will see many standard combat encounters in a variety of unique locations, lots of loot, and some difficult mechanics/encounters near the end. There's also an interesting new character with great voice acting. I encountered no major show stopper bugs, but there's still A LOT of janky little issues with the campaign. Minor scripting problems with certain boss fights, weird visual glitches during cut scenes, mislabeled or unlabeled items and objects, items duplicating at the vendors, achievements not firing in all cases, and severe frame rate drops in some specific locations. This DLC also adds some new kits, spells and feats to the base game that are actually pretty great and may be worth picking this up on a sale for that alone.

Much longer than expected, and with content/choices that you can import into the main campaign on your next playthrough. Worth the time.

Not bad extra content

Continuation of Through the Ashes DLC, also played from outside the main campaign. It provides a conclusion to the story from the previous DLC and adds some items and a boss to the main campaign if you import your save there. The playstyle is traditional - you kill the enemies to progress and that's it. It also contains the most infuriating boss in the entire game which can be downed only via using very specific weapons - I would say that it is also the hardest boss in the entire game as you face it at quite low level.

You can buy this and be satisfied

As a sequel and ending to the earlier DLC "Through the Ashes" your characters have already grown and as such the main reason why the earlier DLC was enjoyable for me, is gone now. You are no longer a low-power side character, hiding in the alleyways and graveyards; you will no longer choose who to save, and whose life you gamble to scout ahead. Your new supernatural powers centered on cold will give you buffs to overcome adversity now. Your powers are sure to snowball quickly here. New areas and storylines are also introduced here, but definitely closer to the 'side quests' of the main campaign when it comes to the quality of the story. Unfortunately, like the earlier DLC, the price here is to high for what is on offer here; not to mention that the big-bad-evil-guy is a let down. Buy this on sale.
