Discover the Story
Your path will lead you to the Worldwound, where the opening of a rift to the Abyss has unleashed all-consuming terror across the land. For over a century, the neighboring nations have fought fearlessly, trying to drive the enemy back — but to little avail.
Now, you have the chance to put an end to this conflict, but the path to salvation is far from clear-cut. Will you become a shining angel, backed by noble paladins? Or a powerful necromancer with hordes of immortal undead in your thrall? Or something else entirely? Lead your army and challenge mighty demon lords. Your crusade will set in motion a chain of events that will leave you — and the world itself — forever changed.
PLAY YOUR HERO, YOUR WAY
Create any character imaginable with the flexibility, richness, and depth of the Pathfinder First Edition ruleset. Choose from 25 classes, 12 character races, and more than a thousand spells, feats, and abilities to suit your personal playstyle.
FOR EVERY CHOICE, A CONSEQUENCE
Your decisions have more weight than ever before. Your goal is clear, but you must forge your own path to it. Who will die, and who will live? Who will stay, and who will go? Make your choices, and watch the world around you change.
A NEW WAY TO FIGHT
Enjoy two combat modes as you slay your enemies – real-time with pause or turn-based. Switch between them on the fly, so you can always take things as slowly — or as quickly — as you like. The unique Pathfinder ruleset also allows you to perform advanced combat maneuvers, like mounted combat. Use them wisely!
GATHER YOUR PARTY
A cast of more than 10 unique companions is ready to join your cause. Earn their trust and respect, and they will have your back no matter what dangers lie ahead. And if you get on their bad side, well… Maybe it’s time to part ways.
LEAD THE CRUSADE
You will need much more than a party of adventurers to cleanse the land of its demonic scourge. Take command of the crusaders and lead them to victory – both as a strategist, controlling the battle from above, and as a field commander, in a new tactical combat mode.
CHOOSE YOUR PATH
Explore nine unique Mythic Paths: obtain extraordinary abilities and shape everything that comes next. Your decisions might transform you into a celestial Angel, a raging Demon, a powerful Lich, a cunning Trickster, an otherworldly Aeon, a rebellious Azata, a wise Gold Dragon, an insatiable Swarm That Walks — or remain mortal and walk the arduous path toward becoming a living Legend.

First of all I let this game age and rest because I knew it was gonna be janky on release just like Kingmaker was. But after all these years this game is still a mess, it aged like milk.
On higher difficulties (Core and above) the balance is terrible. Mechanics, classes, archetypes are still buggy. The world building is meh, the story is boring. The crusade micromanagement just makes it worse instead of adding valuable content. I couldn't believe this but they actually managed to make this one worse than their first game.
There is absolutely no reason to waste your time with this when there are real D&D CRPGs.
Avoid and forget this homebrew dogshit.
Can't play as Grippli so basically the worst game ever, sure give the furries what they want but leave Grimpo the frog from Everquest in the fucking dust.
Game self-quits every few seconds. Managed to clock 2 min of menu during the 30min of owning this title. Maybe I will try it again after a year or so - as with the previous title (although you atleast could play it). Shame.
It's far too complex for its own good.
Maybe ten minutes or so in the character creator alone, a mountain's worth of information thrown at you off the bat, sophistacted system . . . that's too sophisticated, dialed up to eleven as opposed to being balance between user-friendly and in-depth, it instead is at the extreme end.
It's not a game for me, it's unacceptable, for me, to have to go to such lengths, probably even do research off-game for higher difficulties or "endings" by the feel of it in the first few minutes of actual gameplay and combat.
I buy the game, download, play and enjoy the game, that's how it's supposed to happen i.e. without any delays, distractions or far too complex a system being that's there disrupting immersion and punishing insufficient time or otherwise lack of dedication in studying its systems/mechanics.
I can't quite put into words, it's like when you're in a ranked match, playing League of Legends, you know at minute seven or eight that you're not going to win, and that it's just a waste of time and nerves at this point, and I know that it'd not be a good time for me playing the game . . . back to waiting for Divintiy III and Elden Ring's team to release an expansion, or something . . . this game isn't it.
For those that aren't aware, of the characters you can recruit, a majority are deviant lifestyle characters. Name your letter. While a Succubus type demon would be something you'd expect this from, having less than half of the recruitable characters straight might be something you want to be aware of before buying. I think it breaks down to 1 straight male, 1 straight female, and the rest are bi, trans, etc..
I'll leave the gameplay to others. But the feel of it is very much like a remaking of their Original Sin 1,2 rather than BG3. The opening beach scene after a crash is almost an exact look alike to OS 2.
Would be nice to play a game without delving into societal issues of the day.
