Discover the Story
Your path will lead you to the Worldwound, where the opening of a rift to the Abyss has unleashed all-consuming terror across the land. For over a century, the neighboring nations have fought fearlessly, trying to drive the enemy back — but to little avail.
Now, you have the chance to put an end to this conflict, but the path to salvation is far from clear-cut. Will you become a shining angel, backed by noble paladins? Or a powerful necromancer with hordes of immortal undead in your thrall? Or something else entirely? Lead your army and challenge mighty demon lords. Your crusade will set in motion a chain of events that will leave you — and the world itself — forever changed.
PLAY YOUR HERO, YOUR WAY
Create any character imaginable with the flexibility, richness, and depth of the Pathfinder First Edition ruleset. Choose from 25 classes, 12 character races, and more than a thousand spells, feats, and abilities to suit your personal playstyle.
FOR EVERY CHOICE, A CONSEQUENCE
Your decisions have more weight than ever before. Your goal is clear, but you must forge your own path to it. Who will die, and who will live? Who will stay, and who will go? Make your choices, and watch the world around you change.
A NEW WAY TO FIGHT
Enjoy two combat modes as you slay your enemies – real-time with pause or turn-based. Switch between them on the fly, so you can always take things as slowly — or as quickly — as you like. The unique Pathfinder ruleset also allows you to perform advanced combat maneuvers, like mounted combat. Use them wisely!
GATHER YOUR PARTY
A cast of more than 10 unique companions is ready to join your cause. Earn their trust and respect, and they will have your back no matter what dangers lie ahead. And if you get on their bad side, well… Maybe it’s time to part ways.
LEAD THE CRUSADE
You will need much more than a party of adventurers to cleanse the land of its demonic scourge. Take command of the crusaders and lead them to victory – both as a strategist, controlling the battle from above, and as a field commander, in a new tactical combat mode.
CHOOSE YOUR PATH
Explore nine unique Mythic Paths: obtain extraordinary abilities and shape everything that comes next. Your decisions might transform you into a celestial Angel, a raging Demon, a powerful Lich, a cunning Trickster, an otherworldly Aeon, a rebellious Azata, a wise Gold Dragon, an insatiable Swarm That Walks — or remain mortal and walk the arduous path toward becoming a living Legend.

Wrath of the Righteous is a mixed bag. On the one hand, its representation of the Pathfinder ruleset is pretty rock-solid, and the combat system works beautifully. When the game is good, it's really, really good.
Unfortunately, the developers seem to have been determined to undermine that fun wherever they could. Being in charge of an army, for example, is a neat idea, but it's terribly boring in practice. You can automate it (essentially succeeding at that layer of the game automatically), but doing so locks you out of being able to acquire treasures that you might need for your party. Then there's a battle that shows up in the second chapter, a massive slog that took 29 rounds and over an hour of play time. It's one of the most miserable experiences I've ever had playing a CPRG.
Never mind the bugs. Those are likely to be patched out in the near future. When WotR wants to be fun, it is - but there are just too many places where it feels like it wants you to suffer for that fun.
The game itself was fun, even if the writing was a little trite and blahzee. Don't be evil I'll just say that.
The mechanics were solid and I was enjoying the experience. Gameplay is a good time. Then at the start of Chapter 2, which is early on in the experience I suspect, the game crashed and burned and is currently unplayable.
I'm not happy. Maybe wait a little while on this one so that the devs can re-release it without game breaking bugs.
I love these games. but it has two major issues. the first is the spyware / EULA, which is clearly the work of some idiot marketing tool. bad bad move, and they should've known better.
the second is harder for them to correct, unfortunately. their engine is incapable of doing the things they're asking of it. constant massive slowdowns even on brand new top of the line hardware. incredible bugs in pathing (ironic!), AI, and interactions with the world. the last game had these issues, but they've gotten even worse in this one, making what should be a great experience a lot more frustrating than it should be. QA on this one seems rushed, and it's a real shame.
the game itself is great, but I can't recommend it in good conscience.
Great game, but. BIG BUT
+ So many classes, archetypes, races, feats... The character building is 95/100.
+ Classic Isometric RPG
+ Good options. Difficulty, Auto-pause
+ Act 4 city is just great
/Neutral/It uses Patfinder 1E. RTwP+TB mode. It looks prettier and more flashier, but I liked cartoonish art of Kingmaker more.
-Writing is kinda bad, it is interesting, but the way dialoges were written is not immersive. Most companions talk like they are modern teenagers. not born of medival fantasy land where demons are just around the corner.
-Bugs, so many bugs with classes. It is way better than Kingmaker and it has way less quest and story bugs, but with added classes they introduced new bugs with them.
-At the end you just want to quickly go through "act 6" to the end.
This is the best fantasy cRPG out there if you enjoy complex character builds and optimization with tons of customization options to create almost any type of character you can think of. With the mythic paths you can live your fantasy of becoming a lich, demon, angel and many more with unique powers and story to enhance the gameplay experience.
It can be intimidating at first, but with tons of difficulty options you're allowed to make mistakes and aren't punished too hard for it, later when you're more familiar with the game systems you can really get creative and build your team for maximum synergy and power.
For higher difficulty the mod "bubble buffs" is highly recommended, since it completely removes the tedious buffing before every fight, which at higher difficulties is mandatory.
