Description
Party Hard includes the Dark Castle DLC!

NOW WITH LOCAL Co-OP! In Party Hard, you play as someone who is really tired of the neighbors having loud parties. Instead of calling the police, you decide it’s a better idea to kill everyone – using your faithful knife and the environment. The tactical strategy follows a series of killings at parties through-ought the USA.

The developers used to work mostly on casual, family-friendly games - until they participated in a game jam, creating the first prototype for Party Hard. TinyBuild backed up the original developers – Pinokl Games – to create a full version that's now on GOG!

Party Hard has semi-procedural environments and focus on unique ways of killing people. In the greatest traditions of sneaking games, your main goal is not to get caught, while silently picking off unsuspecting victims one by one. Dancing and blending in during a suspicious situation is key.

- A (not)serious story that follows a series of murders through the USA
- 19 unique levels with random variations on each one
- Use traps, cause explosions, become a ninja
- Multiple unlock-able characters
- Local Co-Op Multiplayer
- Special random events, like a bear coming in and killing everyone for you
- Trigger the DEA, SWAT cars, paramedics, firefighters to come in and ruin the party

5 Playable Characters!

The guy who wants to get some sleep
The ninja who is fast, stealthy, has a smoke bomb, but shouldn't be seen
The cop who can carry around bodies without suspicion, and frame other people
The girl who can knock people out
The butcher who has a chainsaw

Play the game on twitch and let your viewers impact what's happening!

Yes, you can let your twitch viewers mess with you during Party Hard. They can trigger all sorts of chaos, like calling in more people to join the party, calling in SWAT, causing Sharknados, and more!

Hilariously Macabre

If you like dark humour, have a love-hate relationships to parties and party culture and pixelart is your thing? I think it's well worth the time

Bad puzzles and poor stealth

The levels contain too much random and, in many cases, the only way to pass them with the traps is to draw the conviction of correct circumstances, which means that in almost all cases it is less late to kill them one by one than having to reinstate several times until the combination is perfect. Many levels do not have logical (or directly any) forms of hiding the bodies so the stealth is more difficult, but if you still want to try it, it will give the same because some NPC will see some corpse and, even if they are blinded with the smoke pumps, you are in another part of the level and you are changed your clothes, they will automatically know that you are the killer. Which leads to a serious problem and that's that you are the only one who they will blame; You will never see any NPC thinking that it was another, so, or they don't not know anything or automatically know that it was you. In a game where you have to kill 50 people at average, having to kill them almost one by one and not have a good stealth system to use after doing so it makes a frustrating game. In turn, history is very bad but since it does not affect the gameplay and you can jump it is not so much.

Repetitive stabbing simulator

Party Hard - one night a guy is done with his neighbours party. He just wants to sleep.. how does he achieve that? Right. He kills everyone. How else could one end such thing. The game itself looks quite charming but in the end is a bad failure. But why is that? Lets start with the good things: The graphics are good. Pixel-like, good colors and difference in characters. More cannot be said about the graphics. The music/sound is good and every level has a new setting and sound - but thats it. Now to the bad things: the game is a hell of repetitive gameplay. Lots and lots of stabbing. One would say the descrition says you can murder the partyfolks with traps and various encounter. Well..its true. You can do that but only once and most of the time is not even worth the effort. An example: you go and kill this one guy with a bunch of heavy logs. The others around him? Not even scratched. So in the end those traps are kinda useless and with mostly 30-60 "objectives" to kill - you go around and stab around 70% of the guys and girls. Even though there is a range of different maps: its going to be the same objective. Kill. Them. All. - I mean sure, why not, but it lacks heavily on diversity. The next big, bad thing are the bugs: the police officer gets stuck -> go have fun stabbing everyone. Corpes are not detected, Stabs dont hit even though they are standing right in your face. Thats only some of those bugs which kind of kill the game by itself already. Even if one would ignore the bugs, the repetitive gameplay etc - theres one thing left: the story. Its a generic one. Mad psychopath goes on a killingspree around the USA. All the cops cant get him. He "wins" in the end. And done. Thats all you get and to be honest: even without the story you could play the game. It adds nothing but a hollow frame you could follow on. So in the end the game deserve not much attention. Dont get me wrong..its fun for 1-2 hours (max.) but thats it. I just cannot recommend this game at all.
