I downloaded this game from the X-box Game Pass, so I know it wasn't played on PC but still wanted to give a review. I figured I would just poke around in it and have it as someting to do when I was bored. But I was HOOKED with in the first few minutes of playing! The game play is 2D, but still very interactive imo. I would put the controller down at times just to listen to the dialog between the characters. You can change up your dialog responses that affects how the characters interact with you. And the more times you play the game the more it messes with the main character! This made the multiple play throughs for some of the achievements less monotonous. The story was not anthing that hasn't necessarily been done before however I still enjoyed it. As well as how some of my choices affected my ending options. I defenitly recommend this, and it has inspired me to check out more less known/Indy games.

You care about these haunted teens. You can be as nice as Mr. Rogers or as mean as Miranda Priestly, and this behavior will decide how Alex gets along with the others at the end. A wonderful story. A beautiful art style. A wonderful story. Gameplay is standard for a walking simulator.

Wow i really liked the game! Thankfully I didn't see anything besides the good reviews before playing it and I was positively surprised! There isn't much gameplay wise to speak of but the story, setting atmosphere characters, voice acting and music are all on a high level. It's also as short as it should be, about 5 hours if you hunt for the collectibles too. My only complaints are the xbox one controller vibration which had a bug that required you too to turn on and off the radio a few times before the vibration stops and the speed of your character which was a bit slow I think. On a last note the only thing that would make one not like the game is the teen vibes (humour, dialogs etc) but I think that it gave more "character" to the game. Anyway, for under 10 euros I can certainly recommend it!

It took me a while to play this game, but after I started I played nonstop to the end. It's a short game, I guess it took me 5 hours of actual gameplay to beat it. But it's worth it. The characters are great and the story is good. But the star of the show is the dialogue. Feels a lot like a TellTale game. Now, the game is easy. I don't think you can die, fail or anything. My only frustration was with some dialogue boxes that faded too quickly, but I think it just made it more real. In life, sometimes we don't know what to say, sometimes we miss the timing to say what we wanted, and sometimes we just instantly regret saying something or going silent. Overall, great game. Just play it.

This is what I think a true terror game should be. No gore, no cheap jump scares. Just imagery and anticipation and good pay offs. Another thing I really enjoyed was the "conversation mechanic". The characters I really well built, which makes the choosing that much more interesting and immersive. People keep complaining about lack os game mechanics, which is baffling to me. From the start its pretty clear that this isn't Diablo or anything like that. I guess "isometric walking simulator" is the best way to describe this.
