Get in touch with your despotic side in Overlord, the twisted fantasy action adventure where you can be evil (or really evil). In the game's seriously warped fantasy world, you’ll become the Overlord and find out for yourself whether absolute power corrupts absolutely. You could be a regular Overlord who only overlords during banking hours. However, with incredible power at your disposal and a team of evil-minded impish critters, the Minions, on hand to do your bidding, how will you resist the temptation to be wonderfully despotic?
Delve deeper into the Overlord's twisted world as Overlord: Raising Hell opens up a series of hellish new levels, each a twisted, corrupted version of the five major kingdoms: Mellow Hills, Evernight, Heaven's Peak, the Golden Halls, and the Ruborian Desert. Access to each abyss is via a portal, which opens once a kingdom has been successfully conquered and the previous ruler banished to a personal hell within. However it's not just the fallen heroes that have been dragged into the abyss: the Overlord's newly loyal peasants have also been taken down into hell too. Do you have what it takes to be really, really, really evil?
Find out in this fun mixture of fantasy role-playing, action, and adventure with just a little pinch of RTS!
Includes both Overlord and Overlord: Raising Hell.
Get in the action and become the Overlord, the all powerful dark lord with a horde of minions to command and a land to conquer.
Conquer a twisted fantasy world and show the Seven Heroes, demonic Halflings, and Rabid Unicorns who's boss.
Control a horde of slavish and loyal minions as they smash, destroy, kill and steal anything for you. Your word is law.

Overlord is one of the a very lighthearted game that actually has very dark story
You will enjoy it a lot for all the inside jokes and the minions
The combat system works well, most of the combat you use minions and some of it is you
Raising Hell is actually an expansion and not a little dlc adds some playability
I'm bad at reviews so ill end at
Evil always finds a way!
Overlord is not a bad Pikmin clone, it's just not a particularly great one either. The story and characters are rather generic, and the attempt at humor never really did anything for me during my playthrough. KB+M controls are fine with exception of sweeping one's minions as it can be quite finicky and irritating. I did enjoy the overall dark fantasy setting and it has a rather appealing look. Overlord was an okay diversion, but I wouldn't put it on anyone's must-play list.
What do you get when you cross the cutesy strategy of Pikmin with a parody of high fantasy from the mind of the daughter of Terry Pratchett? You get Overlord where you plays as a recently resureccted evil overlord who has found that the world isn't nasty enough for his tastes. As you explore as the overlord, you command a horde of goblins who are equal parts brutal and idiotic who will run inside a house and destory everything but will then return to your side wearing pots and pans as armor.
Overlord has a brilliant sense of humour, a genuinely surprising twist, great music and is bright and colourful.
A fun unique Action/Puzzle/Adventure game in which you control an evil overlord capable of controlling an army of imps and sending them forth to terrorize towns and solve puzzles.
