Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition

The art is beautiful, gameplay some times it will be good other times not so much but fortunately you will not encounter the latter so much. The story was kinda good but the villain motive was heart breaking and the ending(T-T). overall the game is gorgeous and worth your time and money.

The music score and art is beyond comparable for any other platformer adventure of this size. The game play is challenging, but not overly so for me (I'm an old dude who grew up with Atari 2600 and Nintendo, so you youngsters should be able to handle this too). Looking forward to the sequel coming February 2020!

Solid platformer with beautiful visuals, though I didn't find the fairly lean story to be all that interesting or emotion-inducing. Nothing terribly innovative gameplay wise, just a well polished platformer.

I got the game quite some time ago and it took me a while to get into it. Somehow, the exploration and gameplay did not seem to intrigue me at first but today, I've picked up my controller and went for it. NB! This game might NOT support third party controllers. Xbox controller seems to be the only way to go and it's not possible to re-bind the keys in game menu. Wah-wah. And so I had got back to the game with the intention to finish it (as it was getting really dusty) and next thing I knew - I got hooked and glued my eyes to the screen.. So hooked and glued, in fact, that I completed the whole game in the same day. And I really enjoyed it! Can definitely recommend to anyone who loves platformers, art & great soundtrack. I'm very much looking forward to playing the sequel!

If you are into the "metroidvania" genre of games, this is probably a must have for you. The visuals are absolutely great (and they get better in the sequel). By far the best part of the game is actually playing it; the controls are incredibly polished and it makes navigating the world in Ori feel good.
