Description
In “Only Lead Can Stop Them” you take on the role as a soldier during the Spanish Civil war, fighting to defend the republic from being crushed by opposing fascist forces.
Over the span of your adventure, you will explore three epic campaigns with a total of 30 levels packed full of dangers and secrets to be discovered. Explore ancient castles, catacombs, muddy trenches, dense forests and combat zones of a war torn battlefield, whilst earning medals along the way for your heroic deeds!
Blast your way through fast-paced levels using your powerful arsenal of ten weapons, including machine guns, explosives, shotguns, pistols and rifles. Fight with purpose! Free your fellow comrades and unravel the fascists' path of destruction.
Only Lead Can Stop Them” takes stylistic influence from classic 90s shooters , featuring detailed environments and enemies rendered in pixel art as well as an uncompromising, break neck, fast paced style of gameplay.
The game features over a dozen distinct enemy types to fight. Whilst many of your enemies will be equipped with firearms, you will also battle strange supernatural occult forces capable of blasting you to pieces!

As blatant as knock-offs can get.
I'll be honest here: I haven't played the game nor will likely I ever do so, because it's so EXTREMELY OBVIOUS to me just from looking at it that they weren't just "inspired by" 90s shooters, but LITERALLY ripping them off. I mean, just look at the bloody cover art! Compare that to the cover art of Wolfenstein 3D. It's the exact same picture! The ONLY difference is the goofy outfit of the enemy and what kind of gun the hero is holding. Hell, even the damn room layout is IDENTICAL to the one from Wolfenstein 3D! So yeah, no, that alone tells me that this game is doing literally NOTHING new, which I suppose is entirely on-brand for any game that seeks to ape 90s shooters. But come freakin' on... AT LEAST TRY TO BE LESS OBVIOUS ABOUT IT! Expecting people to pay money for a game that's THIS blatant about its knock-off status is just plain silly.

Absolute NO to b0lshevik propaganda.
The idea itself makes me want to throw up. Fights with the evil, demonic fascists of General Franco... really? If I recall correctly, it was the communist international... oh, excuse me, so called "republicans" who specialized in sadistic murders of priests and rapes of nuns during the Spanish Civil War, so if you're looking for demonic face anywhere, I sugest to look on b0lshevik bastards. For me dei=pass, no matter how good the game is. But is it good at all? Being inspired by something and ripping it off are two different things. This game is low quality Wolfenstein clone. For me this case of that game is clear - creators are counting on catching on to retro nostalgia and thus pushing a weak product made with minimal effort. $8 for this piece of junk? Thank you very much - I got a Boltgun for $20.

Another weak outlet for crybaby commies to larp out the violence they don't have the cajones for irl. If you really want a pixel shooter just buy Boltgun or Wolfenstein 3D, at least those have some originality.
