I will try it once more
You will need controller. Something between Skate and Tony Hawk (closer to first one). Nice music and mechanics

Good in its porpuse
The game worth it's price in a few words. Graphics: The pixel art might looks wet but it's good with an ok draw style and atmosphere. Gameplay: - You have to like side-scrolling games - It requires a Joypad - It takes time to get used to the game's controllers, especially if you played Tony Hawk's game before - The trick accuracy sounds fair to real tricks, but the game itself has some commands precision issues like not computing tricks or taking grinds Game design: The game design is simple, but it's pleasant. The only complaint goes for the paralax. I feel dizzy everytime I play more than 5 minutes, as though everything was spinning and getting distorced around me.

Be warned!
If you have win10 and this version of the game (GOG) than I would suggest you buy another version of the game! Basically, I couldn't run the game. I had to acquire another copy and play in a different system. (didn't ask for refund for time reason). BUT! on that copy, the game was good! well, a little ''needy'' for some tricks and tracks ( pun intended) but overall a good skateboarding game... at least while we are still talking about 2d games. But, that aside, yes it is fun but I didn't find very entertaining ( at least for my taste). However, this game is also a classic indie game ( at the time of its release, it was pretty radical) so... worth it? yes! but if you do not have a passion for these kind of games, it won't be long before you are bored (this is the reason I giving 3 stars, not for the technical issue encountered).

OlliOlli
OlliOlli is a side-scrolling skateboarding game. There are 25 levels available, each level has 5 achievements to unlock, you may progress through all of the 25 levels with no restriction, you can just ignore the achievements and have fun. However, if you want to play in pro mode, which is the rebuild version of the 25 levels, but on a much harder difficulty, then you will need to unlock every achievement in each level. The game has a very basic control scheme, however, the control scheme is a little different to what you may be used to in other games, using only the "A" button, shoulder buttons, and left analog stick ("A" is not the jump button, you need to press "A" just before you land). Also, the game features a few tutorials, I highly encourage anyone to finish those before they start.

Platforming... With Skateboards
OlliOlli almost plays like an indie platformer with the addition of THPS / skateboard mechanics. It's a highly original game in its own right, has a stunning pixelated aesthetic, and is already setup to work with a 360 controller without further configuration. There are loads of challenging levels, along with some 'spots' levels, which basically serve as trick-attack or high-score modes with even deeper challenges. This game definitely had a lot of thought going into it, and it shows. It's incredible.
