A competent Zelda game

While Zelda is undoubtfully better in most aspects, this game is surprizingly competent. One thing in particular I have to praise it is that when it mentions places you never have been, it always give you a way to discover where they are. Though I guess a better map would be a better solution. Another high point is that is localized in many languages, which is great. As for the rest, I believe most 2D Zelda games did better. Especially the bosses, they are really underwhelming here, and could be seen as just a strong enemy. But well, if you want a game similar to Zelda, this one isn't bad by any means, just not as good. Just bear in mind they probably didn't get a Nintendo budged to work with.

Fun game with rewarding exploration

It's maybe smaller than some other PC Zelda clones (for example Baldo or Airoheart), but it's probably even more interesting. Mostly thanks to really rewarding exploration, where checking every nook and cranny of map will be worthwile. You can collect gold (used for upgrades), extra hearts, new weapons, crafting materials and thanks to distinct feeling of every area you won't get lost or bored easily. It's rather simple game, especially its difficulty is low for now, so game is rather chill experience, it's great title to check out if you want to take break from more engaging games and just explore or relax in this beautiful fantasy world.

Overall very good

Only thing that bothered me is that you can get stuck on NPC. Over all what a great game. Fun to explore and find lots of secrets. Worth your time.

Delightful Little Gem

This builds on a solid base of old-school 2D Zelda style gameplay, but it puts everything into a detailed, lively world, deeply interconnected and with plenty of lore, reminiscent of a metroidvania or soulslike in that respect. The writing has just enough humor to be charming without devolving into outright comedy, and the adventure is appropriately whimsical and fun. I had a great time playing, and it ran smooth as silk on Linux through Lutris/Wine. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that I wish there was a little more of it! I hit nearly 100% completion after about 13 hours of playtime. If it's on sale, this game is an easy recommendation; if you really enjoy exploration-focused adventure games, then it's worthwhile even at full-price.

Good zelda like game in a flooded world.

Enjoyable retro zelda-like game. It's more focused on combat than puzzles. I like the game very much because the game is beautiful. Bad point : the mobility is a bit an issue, you can swing the sword as fast as you can, but you can't move during that, and the sword range isn't great ; enemies on their side are fast, and have huge attack arcs, so it's a bit frustrating. Also, there's almost no enemy weakness exploit (aside from one monster) unlike other games of the genre, every enemy is choppable with the most basic sword. End game bosses feels more bullet hell like, but some items are so overpowered that it's doable even if mobility is a bit an issue. I played with all curses on by the way (= optionnal hard mode), so on a regular run, that's even less an issue. I would have liked a bit more focus on the lore, which is understandable but a light. Overall a good game that I recommend.
