Sorry but no sorry !
It could be a good game, with some interesting puzzles. But the logic based on teleporting between two areas with loading time is just hell. It's not smooth, and too long with the loading time, it made me lose interest in playing.

Very bad gameplay
Controls and graphics seem good. I started exploring and there seemed nothing to interact with. Got to the next scene and there are some buttons to push to get prerecorded messages, and eventually after wandering through a ton of deadends i found one button i could press to get a guy to talk to me. he asked me to turn on the power. went in some more deadends; nothing to interact with. loaded up a walk through. there is a hard to see path beside the guy that actually leads somewhere. back to 1000 deadends. sigh. i have no idea what needs to be done after what i read in the walkthrough and no goal to accomplish. the only way to progress in this game woudl be to step by step follow the walkthrough. it's also very easy to get lost since there are no landmarks or map. there is also no sensible story yet. so 0/10 on gameplay 0/10 on story, 8/10 graphics, 5/10 on controls (mostly because you just have move and press button as your controls)

Not like its predecessor!
Though Obduction caught my interest at first, it quickly turned into a hugely convoluted waste of time and energy. I can only imagine the 5 star reviewers didn't play the game to its conclusion (my apologies if this doesn't apply to you). I absolutely loved Obduction's predecessors and even played through them with my grandchildren. Honestly, I'd hesitate giving Obduction to my worst enemy. It is disconnected, requires a lot of in-game reading (and I do mean a lot) and, worst of all, it doesn't come close to being rewarding. I've never (to my knowledge - but I've been a GOG member for many, many years) reviewed a GOG purchase before now, so let this stand as a testament to my dissatisfaction! Really, if you don't want hours of aggravation (even using a walkthrough), I'm waving you off this title or, you can wait till it's on sale. But, you've been warned. I'm so livid with the game, I'm uninstalling it without finishing; I only wish I could get my time back. My 2 cents...

Fail
Not even the setting menus work. Only got one star because I could not award it 0.
