Nox™

I played this back in high school and it's been great to get a chance to play it again. At the time I had pirated it, so this is my first time seeing the cutscenes or hearing the dialogue. The game is still good -- but unfortunately has some issues that are common to old games, such as bad checkpointing and, in one case, companion A.I. so terrible it actually forces a reload. Definitely get it if you played it in the past, otherwise maybe think twice.

This games 3 class system explores the different roles of possibilities within a hero that culminates in 3 very different hero perspectives. Each of the three archetypes must approach identical challenges with a variety of skills to reach the end of this epic game. What do you choose ?

...about Bombers is that they are sentient creatures. They aren't mechanical, but magic animated constructs, sort of like golems. The factory sound you hear when conjuring one is meant to put your mind at ease, to make the conjurer think they're just summoning a fire and forget weapon like a fireball. In fact if you listen to them, bombers will communicate with each other and the conjurer from time to time. They get excited when they see a target, sort of like an animal would upon the sight of food, and they signal it as they gleefully rush towards their mutual destruction. Like a pigeon strapped with a bomb, they are conditioned to think a reward is waiting for them, instead of a fiery death, as a full mana bar worth of assault grade spells rush through their flimsy articulations, bursting, corroding and charring their tiny frames all at once.

ALWAYS CRASH

I only way a got is game running right, is to run it with compatibility mode in windows 95 settings. The mouse animations in the starting menu would load in otherwise. It lease for me run at a windows 10 OS.
