What happens to the inhabitants of a game world when you have finished it?
In No One Lives in Heaven, the NPCs have been left alone for years and you are the first person to meet them again. Have you ever wondered if Pacman has a private life when he's not eating dots or if Mario and his princess are having marital problems after Bowser is defeated? With a lot of humor and a pinch of philosophy, you'll explore how the characters of old games would fare today if they were abandoned. All your decisions have consequences and influence the course of history. Will you manage to change the fate of the NPCs for the better, or will you yourself become a prisoner of the game? Is your humanity strong enough to stand your ground?
No One Lives in Heaven does not give you a role to play. You are not a chosen hero, nor do you have to fulfill a prophecy to defeat an evil force. The role you play is you, and the destiny you decide is your own.
40-hour campaign with high replay value
over 100 different endings and an almost infinite number of possible playthroughs, depending on the choices you make
humorous dialogues and complex answering options
over 200 unique NPCs with over 300 individually designed quests and a multitude of side activities for hundreds of hours of gameplay fun
voice over from the American spokesman for Coca Cola, IBM and Chrysler
Includes Real Time DLC, which brings with it an interactive menu, additional quests, and the ability to grow food and raise animals, as well as a special gimmick - seasons and a day/night change.
What?! You're still reading the description text and you haven't bought the game yet? How long are you going to make the NPCs wait? Free them from their source code or send them to digital hell. The decision is yours. Of course, only if you dare to add No One Lives in Heaven to your shopping cart.

I played this game a few months ago and was very impressed. The quest design is very unconventional and interesting. The story is rather in the background at the beginning, so you have time to get to know the world and its characters. From the fourth chapter on, however, the main story picks up quite a bit and becomes very twisty and philosophical towards the end. I definitely had a good time with the game and would recommend it to anyone looking for a different gaming experience than the same RPGs with their endless fetch quests.
This game is incredibly fun. The story is very interesting, the characters are likable, and the quests offer a great diversity. I really like the soundtrack and the graphics. There are a lot of decision-making options and you have a huge amount of freedom when playing. Many quests can be solved in different ways and the decisions often have consequences. I'm very happy to have discovered this little gem and don't regret buying it.
I am very glad to have given the game a chance. The story pulled me in right away and the humor is right up my alley. I had to laugh heartily in many situations. The graphics are great for this kind of game. The soundtrack is also beautifully done. The combat system works with elements and skills, so it brings a certain tactical depth. However, the battles are only secondary. The focus is clearly on the story, which you can influence through your own decisions.
+ interesting story
+ funny dialogs
+ great freedom of choice
+ huge amount of content
+ awesome soundtrack
- the mouse control is not optimal...it works better with keyboard or gamepad
- not all dialogs have voice over
Imagine that the characters in a game continue to live their lives after you turn off the game. And at some point you revisit the game and the characters have cooked up some insane plan to escape from the game. This is No One Lives in Heaven. Wacky and funny really sums it up here. It was right up my alley. I had a lot of fun with it.
Yes, I liked No One lives forever even more. But No One Lives in Heaven has its own qualities and merits. I had a lot of fun and when I saw the credits after about 25 hours, I had that comforting and nice feeling in my stomach that you usually have after finishing good games.
So if you want to feel that feeling again, you should put a few dollars in your hand and buy NOLIH.
