No Man's Sky: Voyagers update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

Good game

Been playing on and of since launch. Game play is as I expected and graphics look great (see sys info). I have had only one CTD after a long play session (all night-er) and only noticed slow down once during intro and once in game (saved game point and restarted). The game play can seem repetitive and some may think this is a problem but I knew what to expect and that is what I got! One small issue that is frustrating. GOG have put in a disclaimer saying that the GOG client is needed to access online features of the game. I did not see this disclaimer in place at any time leading up to launch / pre-order period and would probably not have bought NMS if I had.

Good game - exactly what i expected

i got what i expected. as the developer always said, they made a game for a niche community, and that's what they delivered. no storyline, no top notch shooter features, no space combat simulator. they delivered an open sandbox game that evolves around exploration, and that is very well made. yeah, they have a good load of bugs at the start, but wich AAA title doesn't have that these days. in my 15 hour playtime so far i had 2 crashes to desktop. after the second crash i updated my nvidia drivers, no problems or crashes after that. look at let's plays to see if this game is for you before you buy it!

the game is too expensive

the game is too expensive. should lower the price to not feel disappointment, policies seem to deliver an unfinished product, charge high sums and be as beta testers user. I've been watching videos from youtube and it looks good but unfortunately the price is inflated for being an exclusive PS4. 60 $ is an exaggeration, at the height of what it cost the GTA V, my god, nor this comes on the heels of other games, this is an indie game, are economic.

Early Access Indy title passed off as...

a AAA finished game. There is so much potential to this game, unfortunately most of the promised features are not there leaving you with a game with bad combat mechanics, boring upgrade system, tedious user experience and poorly optimised game as a while. Maybe 6-12 months from now it may improve if they patch in the missing features to flesh out the game. As it is I cannot recommend it and have refunded.

Some fun, but it doesn't last.

Well, I had fun with the game for about 30 hours. It was not the kind of fun I expected because of the misleading information we got from Sean Murray though. But that fun fades quite fast. After a while you have seen everything - well at least it feels like. And the thrill of getting the right size of equipment ends quite soon. There is absolutely no "high end" content at all. It just doesn't make sense to continue playing - there is no reward whatsoever. But nevertheless I don't regret to have bought the game, I just regret to have paid 60€. And even more to have bought it as preorder. Again. I really, really should stop doing this. So in the end No Man's Sky comes down to those resolutions: No preorders! No crowd financing! No money until it's the game I really want!
