No Man's Sky: Breach update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

Would only buy for $10

I wanted to believe the hype. I really did. I have only written a few reviews ever and none of them about a negative experience until this one. There are literally pages of things that were shown that are missing and gameplay is lifeless. I found myself excited to explore the worlds and running into creatures and space battles along with interstellar travel. I found that I can't even name my ship...Every ship is the same except for the amount of item slots and cosmetics. The main focus of this title as it stands is to gather resources...To go to more planets and just do the same thing again. In one video they show a giant snake on a planet. Well that snake literally does not exist anywhere on any planet that could possibly be generated. All life found on planets is reduced to small creatures about as large as a dog. Planets do not rotate and there is no sun. Moons do not orbit their planets. There are no ringed planets. Again several things missing. I created this review not based on what I was told previously but how fun the game is compared to the things I then looked up after the fact. Come to find out that this game is extremely bland. When you come into contact with other life it is so meaningless that you'd best not even bother. They can give you health, recharge your shields or give you something small. Things that you either don't need or wouldn't even care to if you saw them lying on the floor. Bottom line is this. If you like survival or craft games. Go play ARK. If you like flight and space battles go play Elite Dangerous. If you want a large universe with ships and decisions that will actually matter and planets to explore then wait for star citizen. This game has little to offer aside from exploring lifeless and boring planets.

Good concept, repetitive game play..

No Man's is a very intriguing concept of a game, for the type of game that it is, it does things well. Make sure your computer has better specs that the minimum recommended and you will be fine. I am into it about 5 hours (not a lot) but I have enjoyed the game, it is repetitive , but at times, that is what your brain needs. After a hard day working, in my case coding, I am down for some mindless collection resources, upgrading my ship and making friends with the local animals... Beaware, there are still bugs in the game, after 5 hours of play, I have blue crashed twice. Hopefully they will be releasing a patch soon. NVidia's new driver seems to help a bit... I would recommend this game, just play it and forget about all the hype and all the negative that is going around. I mean, how would you know if you like it when you play it with other people's preconceptions. Happy Hunting!

It's all about the expectation

No Man's Sky is not perfect in its technique or gameplay. And of course it is not, what most people thought it would be. But personally, i enjoy it very much. I am 10 hours in and maybe i will play it only 10 more but it is a very pleasing and relaxing experience for me. No epic story, no state of the art graphics, performance problems (runs at 1440p at around 50-70 FPS on high with my R9 390X with some drops) and so on, but a great art style, interesting exploration, i have had many great hours and counting, and i think many more gamer can enjoy the game when changing their expectation :)

Good, but not at all €60 good

Sadly, what others have been saying aligns well with my experience after >30 hours of gameplay. I'm not saying it's awfully boring, but after a few hours it does get repetitive. Space stations look exactly the same, you do the same thing everywhere and I didn't even mention the overly poor performance of the game. Some sort of memory leak still exists after months of release, since my first 10 minutes in every session are quite smooth, then FPS starts getting lower and after about 30 minutes, when I enter my ship (or jump to another system) the framerate suddenly drops to 3-4 (from about 20-30 that's been going on for the last 20 minutes). The game can still be fun though: I love exploring new worlds, the lore is quite interesting and learning new words is actually a fun thing to do in No Man's Sky. Also, once I found a star system that had really beatiful and different planets and I felt like "why can't every single system be this beautiful?". That was a fun point in my gameplay, but in the end, I still feel like I didn't get what I was promised (plus Hello Games is being looked at for false advertising and they've been silent for a month now), especially for the price of an AAA title. This was the very first game I preordered and I've pretty much lost hope in prepurchasing anything ever again. I'm really sorry about this whole thing, I wanted to support the devs because this game was introduced as something truly ambitious and unique, yet it turned out to be quite an empty, repetitive game.
