Good, but not at all €60 good
Sadly, what others have been saying aligns well with my experience after >30 hours of gameplay. I'm not saying it's awfully boring, but after a few hours it does get repetitive. Space stations look exactly the same, you do the same thing everywhere and I didn't even mention the overly poor performance of the game. Some sort of memory leak still exists after months of release, since my first 10 minutes in every session are quite smooth, then FPS starts getting lower and after about 30 minutes, when I enter my ship (or jump to another system) the framerate suddenly drops to 3-4 (from about 20-30 that's been going on for the last 20 minutes). The game can still be fun though: I love exploring new worlds, the lore is quite interesting and learning new words is actually a fun thing to do in No Man's Sky. Also, once I found a star system that had really beatiful and different planets and I felt like "why can't every single system be this beautiful?". That was a fun point in my gameplay, but in the end, I still feel like I didn't get what I was promised (plus Hello Games is being looked at for false advertising and they've been silent for a month now), especially for the price of an AAA title. This was the very first game I preordered and I've pretty much lost hope in prepurchasing anything ever again. I'm really sorry about this whole thing, I wanted to support the devs because this game was introduced as something truly ambitious and unique, yet it turned out to be quite an empty, repetitive game.
