No Man's Sky: Voyagers update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

I own this on Steam.

Great game it's not perfect but if you like exploring, finding fun creatures, spaceships, building, space, dog fights, playing with friends. This game is great, one of my favorites. The devs failed hard at launch but have really turned things around and made this, in my opinion, a great game! The only major issue I have is multiplayer on the GOG version of this game is not compatible with Steam. So you can't play together with Steam friends. But the game itself is amazing. I highly recommend this and look forward to any future updates.

Can't Deny The Improvements

Hello Games has done a very good job in redeeming this game. It was far from perfect at release but it has come a long way. I recommend a purchase, especially if you manage to pick it up on sale. The amount of free content that has been added makes it well worth it. I haven't noticed any major issues or performance issues. System Specs: GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (8GB VRAM) Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz (12 CPUs), ~2.6GHz RAM: 16GB Storage: 1TB SSD

One of the best games of the last years

I got No Man´s Sky since day one on PS4, I never regret bought it, even if all that was promised and not acomplished during the launch, for me the game was an amazing flashback to game concepts like StarGlider II on Commodore Amiga, or Mercenary, for GOG users this should be more than enough to appreciate that Hello Games made in this game. Yes, the promises didn´t been accomplished, but they still push the hard work on their non polished jewel, and gave us with the years more than the promised, putting tons of love and hard work that you can feel on every inch, of this huge universe than promised, but finally accomplished even if step by step, being humble and realistic enough to launch the first version, with a game that can be enjoyed NOW with a bigger scope, instead of waiting games like Star Citizen that will never happen.

Don't judge this book by old reviews.

I bought NMS on Steam for half price in August of 2019, and I have almost 2k hours. I can't speak for those poor souls who bought this way back in the beginning. I can only imagine the disappointment and hurt they felt, and may still feel to this day. I do ask, as of right now, try it again? I don't mean just try it, I mean play through the story and long enough to get the exo-mech. You already own the game (for those that didn't get a refund) so a little bandwidth and a few hours of time won't hurt you. For those that did get a refund and still scorn this game, you should watch the streamers who are playing this game. Either way, I don't think you'll regret it. All that being said, just in the Beyond update there has been massive improvements and content additions. There are roughly 30 hours of base story missions, then another week or so until you get your living ship. The visuals are nothing short of breathtaking, and you'll WANT to explore the worlds! As far as PC specs, yes you need a decent video card that supports Vulkan since they moved away from OpenGL. I consider it a good move. Finally, I'll leave you with this. This game has taken a good majority of my time since I bought it. I can't say that about all the games I have, but I can about this one. I bought it at half price and consider it a steel.

A completely different game in 2022.

Tried this when it first came out, and like most people i lost all interest within the first hour or so. Fast forward to the latest gog sale and i have now spent the last 3 days doing nothing but play this game and occationally feed the cat. Inspite of that i probably won't run out of new things to try anytime soon either. This has become a really amazing game that caters to a wide variety of playstyles with even more to come in future updates. The only negative i have found so far is that combat is way too easy across the board and eventually just becomes a repetative chore. It does not help that the primary enemy faction spawns in identical waves over and over while all hostile pilots and critters behave exactly the same.
