No Man's Sky: Voyagers update is here!

Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.

In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.

Now including...

Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, Waypoint (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, Worlds Part I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon and VOYAGERS (6.0).

And now with added Cross-Save! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.

Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).

An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.

Embark on an epic voyage

At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.

Find your own destiny

Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.

Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.

Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.

Share your journey

The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

Not boring just need time

PERFORMANCE Well, this game is what i expected, there are some performance issues, that i encountered only when the weather is cloudy or there is a heavy fog. I7 470K GTX 980 16 GB RAM, and i tried also on my laptop, ROG G751JY but problems are still there, and i know i'm not alone in this, also they maybe started as "little indie team" but, with the support of SONY, they have the budget of a "BIG INDIE", CDPR, OBSIDIAN, LARIAN, PLATINUM......., so they should fix. I will try the game on the other machine FX 8350 and R9 380 16 GB, if i find that is better i'll let you know THE GAME The game is peculiar sandbox with some deeper elements and i can understand that, for someone, visiting many planets to gather resources look like a MEGA-MINECRAFT without constructions, but the gek language, the trading system and probably many other things that i did not discovered yet, are, for me, "that something more" that goes beyond Minecraft and similars. About the gek, i'm one that learned the D'NI and the FEZ languages, to play those games, and on Steam i bought Learn Japanese to Survive, if i have fun with a game, normally the 95 % of my friends will say that is BORING I little suggestion based on my exp is to decrease the CONTROLLER SENS, at least on flight mode

As expected

I for one didn't buy into the hype. I pre-ordered and have never regretted my purchase. While I do agree that the promotion and price point were not what they should have been (thus -1 star), I do not feel the game is very far off what I expected as a person who understands the limitations facing modern game designers. If you are looking for a beautiful, casual, space exploration game then you will love No Man's Sky. If you have a medium powered graphics card and system you will probably do fine... it seems a lot of people having issues are running high-end graphics and hardware... those of us with midgrade systems seems to be able to run it maxed graphics just fine.

Better than I expected

I didn't follow this game before release. So I have no idea which promises were kept and which were broken. I bought the game on sale as a result of the Foundation patch. It looked like they were adding the kind of content that would keep my interest, and so far the game has been pretty fun. I haven't seen anything so far that would draw the kind of ire and negativity that this game has. I guess they must have promised players the moon, but instead only delivered a universe.

New Update Makes Game More Enjoyable

The new Foundation Update added a very large amount of new content that easily adds hours worth of playtime to the game. You now have a real goal to work towards: building a home. You can claim a base site on a planet as your own and build your own base very similar to how Subnautica's building system works. The new Survival mode makes surviving an actually difficult task, since the planet's generation system has been rewritten and the items you need to survive are much harder to find (especially an essential resource, Plutonium). The planet's generation system also improved the look of the planets. There are truly massive mountains and incredible wide open spaces with rolling hills. There's also a large number of new animal categories. Expect a much larger variety of creatures and plants as well. They also added tons of new resources to the game and the ability to purchase a Freighter which can be another base that you can build inside of. In short, this new update makes a tremendous improvement for the game. Beforehand, the game wasn't worth anyone's time, and most certainly wasn't worth the $60 price tag, and while it still hasn't reached that point yet, it is definitely a game worth our time now. I'd say it's worth $25 now, so if it's on sale somewhere, definitely pick it up. Thanks for your time.

Very rough start, But now worth a look.

No Mans Sky has been called No Mans Lie for good reason, the tech demos and features promised never happened and on top of asking for AAA price tag to boot! they received deserved backlash from that, I also hope who ever was responsible for that decision was sacked. Now with that out of the way I will review based on the current state of the game and if its worth buying on sale. Hello games should have opened with this being early access/indie title and priced to match, Its a game essentially about exploration and collecting, in this area it excells. If you have ever played any of the many survival games out there (its like ark without combat) youll know what your getting into. The universe and many worlds look great and its like meditation looking around and scanning all the creatures, Most of my time in game has been spent building my base and farms, gathering the resources to do so. Though you can follow the route to the centre of the galaxy for end game if you choose. A very nice touch is being able to name the planets/animals you find and upload them to the server, Once done if anyone finds your worlds they will see the names you have given. This is where the game has started to come together, admist the hate Hello Games have really pulled their fingers out with updates adding the base building farms and even a bit of story. Combat added and fleshed out a tad (still not really anything to shout about but it adds diversion) as well as many other nice additions. I paid full price at release and currently have 80 hours playtime so I consider my money well spent. It seems Hello Games staff are not all con artists and they want their game to succeed. Really adding some love since release. but only time will tell if the backlash can be fixed from launch. I hope so, as with even more updates this game would be amazing. P.S Hello Games please add vive support :)
