Night in the Woods: Weird Autumn Edition

Best game in the world. Soundtrack still makes me cry, every time. After Alec passed, I appreciated this game even more. I played this game when experiencing some pretty heavy life events, and the only thing I looked forward to was a couple hours of this game at the end of the long work day. Freaking masterpiece.

I didn't really like the game. It was a bit too slow-paced for my tastes and I just found it boring, to be honest. One thing I did like was the whole autumn vibe present in the town of Possum Springs in the game.

Lovely story and environments. It looks very stylish. If you are a fan of good narrative and characters you will love this game. It really captures the experience of feeling stuck in a small, dying town. It also paces itself well and has some scary/thrilling moments. Its genuinely funny and the dialogue can be quite thought provoking. The soundtrack is gold!

I really enjoyed this one. It relies more on atmosphere and a coherent artistic vision than a gripping story, but that worked really well for me. Just the right length and all in all a thoroughly original and beautiful experience.

The relatabiity of the characters, even if your personal story has no connections with the fictional one, shows the greatness of the writing. The best bodies of work implant you in their world. This game definately does.
