Neverwinter Nights: Heroes of Neverwinter

Selling couple of portraits when there's packs upon packs of portraits, literally hundreds, available online, ready to be used in game, and all of that created for free by the community. This is shameless preying on clueless first timers and sunday gamers.

Especially when you can easily find portrait packs with hundreds of pictures to choose from. Hell, from the store screenshots some of the included portraits aren't even people! Just items or symbols!

As silly as it is, I would have bought this. I can't stand when a character with a premade portrait bumps into an NPC with the same portrait, and finding good portraits in the free portrait packs full of ripped deviantart images is more difficult than it sounds. I understand that artists need to be compensated and want to encourage more original portraits. Turns out though, it's not available for customers with the Diamond edition, only if you have the Enhanced Edition! As if saving files to portraits/ is something that requires more advanced software.

The only reason I have this is it was bundled with the premium modules for EE. I always install everything but this. Skipping it saves a few seconds of my day and spares me having to look at these bland portraits. Get much better community made portraits on neverwintervault.org. Reviews here that insist "not everyone knows how to install CC" should note that building a character in the game is a far more complicated endeavor than dropping a .hak file into the hak folder.
