Good graphics, shallow experience.
Necromunda is very much a "budget AAA game" in that it was produced with a tight budget in order to give it a 40$ price tag as opposed to the arbitrary 60$ common in the industry today. Unfortunately, the old modicum "what you pay for is what you get" is very true in this case. The game is poorly optimized and bloated, but offers some magnificent screenshots. First you have to download a massive 50gb, and later download regular 20gb updates. But even after all this the game still runs like garbage on most high end machines, and all these massive updates have done very little to alleviate the problem. Not to mention that loading times are unforgivably long, it takes upwards of a minute to load into a mission that is over in four minutes. In terms of gameplay, imagine a more janky and repetitive version of Doom: Eternal. Apart from this the game is extremely uninspired, consisting of the same formula: enter combat arena, kill/destroy something, go to score screen. This gets boring after a measly 4 hours. And as for story, it may as well not be there. They try and do fan service by featuring Kal Jerico but he doesn't fill any significant role beyond giving quests. Instead of wasting your money on a mediocre ripoff of Doom: Eternal, just suck it up and pay the extra 20$ for a vastly superior experience.

Not worth the price even on sale.
Its a sad era of gaming when a solo dev powered by nothing but ramen and guro hentai can make a more competent fps game than 100s of french men with the backing of games workshop. BTW buy Beyond Citadel when it comes to GOG. Shotguns can tear people in half and not tickle people like the game is set on Seseme Street.

no optimization
On a laptop with a Ryzen 7 4800H and a GTX 1660ti, the game keeps freezing for a couple of seconds.

Bad Game. Don't Buy.
Read my headline. I wish I did not buy this game. Buggy. Game has crashed multiple times. Procedurally generated side missions a joke. No clear guidance as to how to pick augmentations or weapons. You learn how to use some functions and controls by trial and error or by doing an internet search. Enemy AI is repetitive, The game simply does not flow. Storyline is a joke. Like others have said.. lazy development, unrefined gameplay. There are good reviews and bad reviews on GOG. I side with the bad reviews. Buy something else on GOG.
