Bad Game. Don't Buy.
Read my headline. I wish I did not buy this game. Buggy. Game has crashed multiple times. Procedurally generated side missions a joke. No clear guidance as to how to pick augmentations or weapons. You learn how to use some functions and controls by trial and error or by doing an internet search. Enemy AI is repetitive, The game simply does not flow. Storyline is a joke. Like others have said.. lazy development, unrefined gameplay. There are good reviews and bad reviews on GOG. I side with the bad reviews. Buy something else on GOG.

awesome graphics, crappy game-play
After the wonderful atmosphere they crafted in Space Hulk, I was really hoping that Streum On would up their game with richer, deeper content complemented by a better physics engine... Nope. What you have here is 90s era DOOM with modern graphics. Your character feels too light on her feet (not in a ninja way -- in a physics don't apply way); your guns don't have any heft to them; and your enemies spawn suddenly only to form a convenient beeline to your sights. If you like old-school, mow-'em-down-and-keep-'em-coming shooters, this might appeal to you. But if you prefer atmosphere, good finish or any kind of nuance, I'd give this a hard pass.

Lazy development
This game seems like it will be fun at first. You get into your first gun battle and start thinking "wow, this is pretty fun action". Before too long you'll realize that all of the fun mechanics you're using are taken from other games, and that those games implement the features much better. In fact, the only thing this team seems to have brought to the table is poorly polished mechanics and infinitely spawning enemies directly behind you. Also, nothing about how the faction system, character upgrades, or really anything except basic movement (you know, for those who've never played a video game before) is explained at all. The team is lazy. There is very little effort in this. Seriously, I saw a giant robot guy dig his way underground on a platform with nothing underneath it. That does not suggest anyone who worked on it actually cared about the final product. There is precious little effort to be found anywhere in this game and the excuse of "tee hee, we're just a cute little indie studio" has worn paper thin over the years. Just avoid this game until it costs around $5, or you'll regret your purchase.

Mops the floor with DOOM ETERNAL
Pros: + atmosphere. Sure graphics are a bit dated but the environmental design makes up for it + graphics (lighting and environments only) + music and sound effects + fluid gunplay is superb, I prefer this to the gameplay in DOOM ETERNAL, where you need to constantly switch weapons and perform special finishers + horizontal level design is what CYBERPUNK 2077 wanted to do (and failed miserably) made into perfection. Hey, it’s even got the wall-running that was cut from CP2077! + level design in general with secrets + combat is excellent, aggressive action is rewarded (healing) + outfits actually look cyberpunkish but badass – not like the ridiculous clown suits that CDProjekt Red gave us! + brings the Warhammer 40k universe to life, as the same team did in SPACE HULK DEATHWING + customization, tons of guns and character development (augments instead of XP) + low price (even when not on sale) Cons: - graphics (textures and faces) - sound mixing (voices are too low, environment too loud) and voices in general - optimization needs serious improvement ASAP (frame rates tank occasionally) - endless waves of enemies keep spawning if you don't move on (no 100%ing possible) - the loot system – it just takes away from the action - controls/menus made with consoles in mind - autosave checkpoint system instead of saving whenever/wherever - mastiff is more of a homing missile than a real dog - voice acting hit & miss - bugs and a bit janky at times (but nowhere near as bad as some people say) - could use a better tutorial Bottom line: I still prefer DEATHWING to this one, but NECROMUNDA sure mops the floor with Cyberpunk 2077 and both newer DOOM games (yes, I mean it!).Cyberpunk never looked better (yes, the aesthetics here are far superior to CYBERPUNK 2077). Add the developer's knack for nailing the 40k atmosphere and you get a rough diamond that needs a bit of patching but is actually more fun than recent triple A games when it works properly.
