All of the flaws of FraXcom
I got this on a humble bundle on steam. It has all of the problems that the fraXcom series has which makes combat bad. The skills seem kinda boring too. The game has a lot of charm that I like. The characters seem fun and I like the setting and the initial town and such.....but the core gameplay just isn't good for me. I would like to enjoy it but I can't.

Too "square"
It tries to be fallout and x-com, but ends up picking just the bad parts of both! It tries to have a post-apocalyptic story line and an interesting world like fallout, but falls completely flat on that! instead it is a bland and predictable rip off of the fallout story line, with the linearity and lack of depth from x-com. Then it tries to be a complex strategy game with stealth mechanics, just to be a broken beyond hope engine just like the first fallout. Sometimes you walk right in front of the enemy and they do not notice you, other times you fire a mile a way with a silent cross bowl and the whole map is triggered. There is absolutely no way to predict an strategy. Not to mention the UI requires a hundred useless clicks for not good reason, and sometimes you misclick an action and screw everything up because you were just mindlessly going over the silly UI annoyance. On highest difficulty, the fights are either too easy if you happen to have the right team/equipment, or completely impossible.
