Moto Racer

This game is a fantastic game. I grew up with this game, and it's one of the top 5 arcade racers from the 90s in my personal opinion. I joined GOG.com because of this game.. that's how much I loved it. The graphics on PC were great, the framerate was great, the colors were vibrant, and it was a fast racer with great controls and great music. This GOG version though is HORRIBLE. I have a top of the line gaming PC that I've built, and I have Windows 7 64 Bit... all my specs obviously exceed the requirements for the game, and yet all the game does is STUTTER. And not in a "ah well, it's an old game" way. I mean, so bad it's completely unplayable. You can get it to run smooth, but you'll have to put the graphics detail down so low, that you won't be able to get textures, and if you do, you won't be able to see where you're going very well. My Compaq Presario from 1995 played this game flawlessly and with a higher resolution than this game provides. This is 100% broken, and even if they were to fix it, the resolution is a joke. If you want to enjoy this game again, go buy an old PC or settle for the Playstation version that looks ugly and is missing levels. It may not be what you grew up with, but I can guarantee you you'll be able to at least play it. PASS ON THIS, and if this is the quality of GOG games, pass on any others here as well.

Spent a lot of time on this game :) If I could just remember the cheat code to enable pocket bikes..

i just don't get it? you can use your mouse on the MENU screens but when it comes to actually controlling the turning of your bike you have to use the KEYBOARD? i keep crashing into walls because the people who made this game didn't have enough IQ to understand that a game like this needs to use a MOUSE to have proper control. how could they think that this wouldn't be a big problem for people?
