I'm trying to setup my controller, but when I click options the "gamepad setup" is greyed out and I'm unable to setup my controller. On gog it says that this version has controller support. Keyboard setup works, does any1 know how to fix this?
The game has a cheat code wher you enable the "?" Menu. But when you do, after a few seconds the game freezes and a message box is shown with an error message and a button to terminate de aplication.
Asking for a refund, because when buying a game I expect at least for it to work properly on the entire content.
From the reviews I've read, I expect a lot for this version.
Xbox One controllers are compatible, requires configuring the default settings > save > exit game > run game again.
The sound is reasonable, it's not 100% like the arcade machine but it's almost there.
The image is what screwed up this conversion. The actual size is stupidly small. It is an extremely small box on a monitor with a scale of 1080p. Nor am I using a resolution higher than full HD.
Response time is very slow. Adaptation to console is faster.
I've played Mortal Kombat 1 since the arcades. I spent a lot of coins. It's one of my favorite games but this adaptation is horrible.
It has positive points such as the game knowing which buttons/keys are pressed and blocking the same notes on Shao Kahn. If you don't believe it, see the source code of the game.
I owned the PS1 verison back in the day. I jumped at the chance to own it, on PC through GOG. There are a few issues I'm having with this verison. I can only close the game through task manager, and there don't seem to be a way to change/confg controls. No practice mode nor a list of special moves. Otherwise the game is solid, with all the + and - of a MK game.
