Set in the Warhammer World's decimated Empire city, Mordheim: City of the Damned is a turn-based tactical game where you lead warbands into bloody and lethal skirmishes. After a twin tailed comet crashed on Mordheim, the City of the Damned turned into a terrifying battlefield where rival warbands fight fiercely for the control of key neighborhoods, looking for glory and fortune by acquiring the very valuable Wyrdstone fragments.

Great tactical gameplay and atmosphere
I think not enough people give this game a fair shake. If you want a fantasy version of xcom this is the game for you, but be prepared for the rng to not favor the player like in xcom 2. Mordheim is not so hard once you've figured it out, but it will punish any mistakes you make with a vengeance. After awhile the gameplay is a bit grindy, and some of the campaign missions are pretty janky, but it's still worth grabbing on sale. I got it for free via gog and felt the dlc was worth it on sale. Just fyi, the gog version does not support multiplayer which may or may not be a dealbreaker for you.

good-good for stubborn players
It's demanding but worth playing. Nice difference in leading single group of characters to all Warhammer computer games. The Veteran skill points system is interesting addon. May get repetitive but after leaving for some time you will come back with good attitude.

Almost as good as the real thing =D
It scratches the itch of wanting to play Mordheim on the tabletop with my friends. The advancement is highly detailed and there are unique stories for each faction. I wish the camera would stop thinking it knows better than me on what angle is good.
