Nice casual metroidvania
I quite like the concept of the different monster forms. The art is charming and the combat is fun without being very difficult. If I have to give it a con is that the characters sometimes feels like it has soles lathered in oil when platforming.

Really great
If you loved Wonder Boy 3 The Dragon´s Trap for Master System or its remake you will love Monster Boy as well. It offers the same gameplay and the same winning formula but this time the adventure is longer and we can change form whenever we want :) My score: 8.8
