mission force: Awesome storm
The graphics are from the 80's, so expect that. The game play though, it is my favorite mech game of all time.

"This is a fun title from my childhood though it is not a perfect game or a perfect port." "Some small quality-of-life features are missing such as being able to click on Bioderm portraits to get their history... or rather the history of the person who provided the genetic profile used to create them." "The game can feel a bit grindy in the persuit of credits to outfit your HERC taskforce." "I'm not 100% certain, but I think in the original game you could not rank up simply by taking the more profitable mining missions. You had to take the more dangerous and exciting (But low paying) military missions to advance. However, playing now I could rank up exclusively on mining missions and doing so rarely meant i had more money than I could spend." "This game is very atmospheric and has a lot of personality which I appreciate. Not everything is explained however. Word to the wise, better life-support systems have more HP-- even if the other benefits of a better system might be wasted it may be worth-while to upgrade otherwise you could lose your entire HERC and not understand how they were taken out so fast." "I recommend losing and going into debt at least once on a save file you can delete later. Senior Moral Officer's Brief Unitech Command. "Cut this Technician from duty at once! great game
i cant wait until the sequel comes out on gog. the sequel basically added a few things like the choice between real time and turn based play on a mission by mission basis. smarter AI and generally was a small improvement across the board
