Liked the game.
Is a relaxing game of building a city. Minimalist graphics, sometime is hard to manage the logistics.

Fun for a while
It's a fun game for a while, it's a bit repetitve but for those that are into micromanagement, it's great. Unfortunately, there are still a few bugs here and there that they are ironing out, there have been 2 patches already in 15 days, so I guess in a couple of month it will be much better.

Top Example of its Genre
I think this is the first game I've ever written a review for on GoG, and, to start, 4 stars is an exceptionally high rating for me. As 5 stars amounts to “S” class games such as Terraria, Axiom Verge, Stardew Valley, etc… Mini Settlers gets an exceptionally high rating of 4 stars from me, because it is exceptional for its genre. Yes, it does have some unintuitive “quality of life” issues, but at two months shy of even its first year since release at the time I write this review, they are all in the category of “fine tuning”. Things that become more prominent in deeper game play, that then get tweaked in future patches. Which they are doing, and have politely put an easy to access “change log” directly into the main menu. It is a perfect balance for a “sandbox” game. There are goals to give a player something to work towards, but, the player can freely build, destroy and replace thing at will. So it presents a “I do have something to do, but, I can do it any way I want to my own way.” They have both a campaign mode, and, a open ended sandbox mode, with at a quick glance seems to have about 20 different islands (maps), ranging from small to large, to see how high you can get the population. If the devs see this - you cannot possibly add to much content to this foundation. I for one, would buy DLC to build rockets that go to the moon, and then build colonies there. Shoot for the stars, and don’t stop until you land there.

Pretty fun city builder
Very minimalist and clean. Focused more on the puzzle of making your cities grow and the logistics of moving materials. Still some rough edges on controls and icons, but the game has just released :)

OK for a while
It's quite fun in the beginning. As you advance to higher maps though it gets very space limited. And also each map you have to start over from the beginning so it starts to feel grindy. Only 1 bug I saw was ports would not locate correctly requiring save close and restart the game.
