Might and Magic® 8: Day of the Destroyer™

really sad to have played a game for 30 hours and cant complete it. otherwise a really good game if your in too mm series. but dont buy this.

GOG has done a very poor job mm8 keeps crashing

No longer is playable. GOG used to be a place to get good old games, and know that they would run. Not anymore. The best I can do is get this to crash on starting a new game. It took the Greyface patch to get that far, without it it just won't load at all. This is why I pretty much have stopped buying games from GoG. When it's a roll of the dice as to whether even a brand new 2021 game will be playable or not, it's a sign that they no longer bother with even the most basic levels of effort outside of simply taking money. May as well buy the old disc versions instead, and not bother with GOG ever again.

M & M 8 didn't age well. Okay, so do many older games. And I am an older gamer with love for older games. But the graphics in part 8 looks awful, never let me dive in the immersion of the game. I played and loved part 6 in the late 90s, but now I can't enjoy this anymore. People should watch it in videos (motion) before bying. The render graphics in shops and so on look still ok. The game itself is awesome and huge, no question. But the graphic...

I still contend that the writ of fate is the only decent entry in the series
