Might and Magic® 8: Day of the Destroyer™

I do not consider the released alpha build of MM9 as an entry, so MM8 is the last installment of the great series of RPG games. It is basically MM7 with the shaken up class system, new locations and quests. My only complaint is against the last part of the game, where characters are travelling the elemental plains: big boring empty locations filled with monsters. Anyway, if you like MM6 and MM7, you'll most probably like this game also.

although a bit different than 6 or 7 i think this may be my favourite of the franchise

i played this when it came out. i loved it. but forgot the name of the game. i have searched and ggogled what i could remmeber of it, and have been unable to find it for over 15 years. well, i finally found it, and am loving it all over. this is prety in line with the enjoyment i got from Wizardry 8 (about the same timeframe game.)

I am a huge fan of MM7 and MM8 is a great step up from the previous game. While it keeps all the things we "old" gamers love about the classics, it enhances the gameplay with intricate stories and the ability to swap out team members. Everything about this game JUST WORKS ... the learning curve is not only super easy, but logical. If you are a fan of Turn Based games you will enjoy this classic.
