Might and Magic® 6-pack Limited Edition

After all these years it is amazing to wander across the magical world of Enroth with my companions Zoltan Alexis and Serena. That's a well packed game that suits new systems. Thanks to my oldest friend "Kaan" for sending this gift to me, remembering the good ol' days of adventure.

I love the old school RPGs in the vein of Bard's Tale and the Wizardry series (let's hope we can see these babies here on GOG). The Might and Magic 6 pack is an incredible deal. I read somewhere on the Community Boards that all together, the playing time for the M&M 6 pack is about 600 hours. That's $1 per 100 hours of RPG gaming goodness. What an exceptional deal! So grab your mapping skills, grab the cluebook and slog into some of the richest storylines ever created! I love to explore every nook and cranny and be immersed in the world as I complete quests, build champions, find treasures, learn spells, and intimately know every passageway, trap, monsters, and hordes of treasure. I think I will be playing the M&M 6 pack for a very looong time. And when I'm all done, I will keep going with M&M7 and any other M&M, HOMM game that GOG adds here. Hail to the GOG-king baby!

Ever since I was a young boy playing Might and Magic 3, I knew this was the game for me. Each and every game in the series up until 8 surprised me with what this series can do. Now, in 2011, Might and Magic 6 remains my favorite game of all time. The Elder Scrolls games just don't live up to it's amazing open world predecessors. If you haven't played these games, do yourself a favor and buy this pack. Its an incredible deal!

I only know a great deal about World of Xeen which is part 4 and 5 combined into 1 game. Its dated but wow, I have played this game thru so many times since I picked it up as a kid (still got my CD's). The characters are voice acted which is nice for its time. The worlds are both huge grids that you will want to explore every inch of. The puzzles in this game are creative and the difficulty of both the puzzles and the mobs is quite challenging. The atmosphere goes from light to quite dark but retains a feeling of enchantment and charm. If you don't mind (or like) retro graphics, shutterstep grid-based movement and a huge challenging world(s) then this game is worth the money for the pack by itself.

I played 1-5 all those years ago and these are great games. I'd have to say that 3-5 are the best of the lot.....but that's probably because I was a programmer on those three. :-)
