Overrated
I customize my gun to not have a sight yet it does on the next level. 5 minute in and it crashed. Game would start but not load the level again until I noticed the graphic settings changed after the crash. Saw the 2 minutes of developer ads about 10x. Sound effects block out important details the person is saying. $5 so had to give it a try.

Does everything so well
How can a title merge challenging stealth, story infused level design, FPS/firefights, horror and RPG elements all so well. The game truly feels like a novel and not just a flat gamification of the novel world because of how rich the environments, dialouge(sooo many NPC great conversations to overhear), graphics and level design is. Feels like COD singleplayer campaign, but russian. I feel that I miss have the conversations that tell the story because I trigger alarms and kill everyone before I get to sneak close to them.

Like watching a very bad European movie.
Forced cut scenes with terrible voices. A game on rails where you are forced to NOT shoot Anna in the head for being a REALLY DUMB B***H. The entire first chapter is guided with NO player input. $2.99 is $3.00 too much for this pile of feces.

Both are excellent
Bought both of these on Steam quite a while back, decided to get the GOG versions during this winter sale. Very glad I did, the GOG offerings seem to run better than the Steam games, Fraps bears this out for me. Maybe they don't play well with the Steam overhead, but for twenty bucks for the pair, I'm glad I got them. Last Light comes with all the DLC, (As did the Steam versions) and even base games have enough little nooks and crannies to explore and flesh out the world a bit I find they are worth a replay.
