Awesome story and good gameplay
Yes there is some bad things as annoying stealth, some bugs and muted protagonist. But other things is good.

This port on GOG is terrible. I owned this game in XBOX Game Pass for PC and game was stable and good, but there in GOG is unstable and she's crashing over and over....I am very sad because this is my favorite game....pleas, fix it!!!!

for those who have startup crash issues
Go to your game installation folder, right click MetroExodus.exe, and in "Compability" tab, set "Run this program as an administrator". Do not use GoG launcher to start the game.

A Great FPS Experience
Metro Exodus is the third game of Metro franchise, and in my opinion, the best one yet. I've played the other games before but i didn't enjoy them as much as i did with this one. Exodus has this thing where it throws you in many different areas (open areas, not tunnels) and you can either go on with the story or explore many places to fulfill sidequests and find some interesting upgrades on your own. You feel like every place you explore you are rewarded for your initiative and the way that the game makes the whole gameplay loop (explore, find new stuff, get on with the story) is quite organic and well thought out. The strong sense of atmosphere, the well balanced gameplay (no getting stuck in a tight corridor or area to face dozens of mutated creatures anymore...for the most part) and the constant change in scenarios make this game a decent experience. Every experience felt real and every place was memorable. Metro Exodus made me feel what Half Life 2 did for me, which is make you feel like you were there, experiencing all these crazy things on your own and it was well worth it. My favorite area in the game is Taiga. A forest filled with danger but with a beautiful vista. Going through that area as night turned into day and vice-versa was amazing. In terms of stability...well, the game can crash, but to be honest i played for almost 50 hours on Steam (DLCs included) and only experienced one crash and one bug (related to a map marker). What i did to avoid crashes was to play the game using Directx 11 instead of 12 and to avoid possible save corruption (which didn't happen to me, even though the game told me that i had corrupted save) i made backup of my saves everytime i closed the game. If you want to run the game on Ultra at 1080 60FPS or higher, you'll need some serious hardware, especially when playing on areas such as Taiga or Caspian Sea. Overall, i think Metro Exodus was worth the money and time and it was a great game for me.

Great story, okay gameplay
I wqould suggest getting this game on sale, because the story is worth it , but I ran into some game-breaking bugs that have been pretty well documented by the community but ignored by the devs for two years. I am, of course, talking about the mission leading up to the Lighthouse. Many hard freezes and scripts not triggering to move the quest along, making the only fix is to restart the entire chapter. It is towards the beginning, but still annoying nonetheless. With that out of the way, the story is great. I was invested the entire way and I love the added crafting mechanics. The gunplay is a little awkward, but stealth is my main source of gameplay so it didn't bug me too much.
