METAL SLUG

Classic game, awefull port Co-op is unplayble : FPS drop by ~15 every ten seconds. Same thing in solo mode, when bullets fly everywhere. I recommend to play this awesome serie on the Wii version, not this one...

Metal Slug is a great game it has beautiful pixel-art, great run-n-gun aktion. Everyone can get behind real quick for a game or too. That is my honest opinion. But WHY THE FLUFF DOES THIS GAME COME WITHOUT NATIVE CONTROLLER SUPPORT ---OR--- REMAPABLE BUTTONS? Lazy. Sry. Very Dissapointed about this. It lags like playing the old PSP Disc-Version at times.. I really dont know what to say. Maybe outsource it to some dedicated modders or something guys? This is my personal Cyberpunk 2077. Just HOW? And tbh why..?

At large do I agree with a lot of the other reviews here; that the game is great, but not the port. Even if the slowdowns are part of how the game would have run on original hardware, would I still have liked the option to run the game lag free.

This Metal Slug port is very loyal to the original experience, this includes the slowdowns. But there's some "extras which i loved. These extras being: 1. Having a cool menu where you can set your difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard, Very Hard), change the controls/settings(sound, graphics, etc). 2. You can either play the Arcade Mode (From mission 1 to 6) or you can choose one mission in specific to start. 3. you can turn on or off autofire. Conclusion: Amazing Game. Very Loyal port ( i personally liked it).

The game is fun to play, runs well and fast. have not had any issues with it, game moves well and my game pads work with it. in a nut shell the game is really fun to play over and over and over again. Did not give it 5 stars because 5 stars is for Crazy Fun 100% nothing super fun games. that don't have anything wrong with it. This port does lag once on while, but it is still a great game that is fun to play. over and over again. Will be buying the other metal slug games.
