METAL GEAR SOLID

Probably the worst controll to any game I ever played. I know it is old, but even the games from same era have better controll. Pretty much all of the game difficulty is from you having to fight controlls.

once you disconnect your controller, the game no longer recognize the controller which you are forced to use the horrendous keybourd controls. you cant even change the button layout of your keybourd

This game is awesome. Has some issues due to it being still the old port. But if you this genre and the MGS game like i do, buy it.

I usually don't leave reviews unless I'm passionate about a game. This is by far the worse port of a game I have ever seen. Controls continually do not work and sometimes cannot even be remapped. The menus in this game feel like a shitty mobile game. I do not care about fan made patches for a game. If I'm purchasing something with my money I expect it to work. I should not have to flip through post and pages on how to fix this issue. Play the PS1 version or emulate it. You'll get way better results than this trust me. I'm not sure what other game these guys are playing but I'm pretty sure its after they fan patched it. Be prepared to mod this if your just looking to play the game at all.

So after manually binding the keyboard layout to my controller to play Metal Gear Solid in the way I always played it I noticed the refusal of the game to fit the resolution of my monitor. So then I visited the settings to see maybe 4 options for graphics in this pc game. So I uninstalled the game and put the ps1 disc in my pc disc tray and ran it in my emulator of choice with countless graphics options. hopefully the full HD collection gets ported to PC one day but when it comes to MGS this certainly aint it.
