Decent Port and has VR Missions
The controls do not map properly to xbox out of the box but can be rebound. This game is fun and has been reviewed to ad nauseum. So far no crashes.

The best way to play MGS 1
When MGS hit, I tried a demo on PS1 and loved it but I couldn't stand the weird PS1 graphics. The PC version hit and I was in love. This is easily my favorite way to play this classic.

I haven't played this version, but I'm giving 5 stars because I'm annoyed by people complaining about lack of some language - there was a time, when not every game was translated to so many languages, you know? Play in English, you lazy kidos.

Bad audio quality
With the -nofilter and -notruetype executable arguments this looks great, basically hi-res PS1 graphics. Controls work reasonably with an XBox controller. Unfortunately some of the sound effects have a distracting white-noise hiss that is apparently unfixable and is personally a deal-breaker for me.
