METAL GEAR SOLID

would have gave the release a 5 star but had to give it a 4, I highly reccomend going to the PCGamingWIKI page to find mods to add stuff like force 1080p and widescreen, as the base game from the installer does not allow it other than that its a great release, also the controller can be mapped despite it stating it cant.

Wow, this takes me back years ago staying up late as a kid and kicking it like a wild donkey! this game needs no introduction playing with a keyboard is super easy as well!

Wow. It's the first time i have ever played this game, so there is no nostalgia. I was introduced to the series with MGSV:TPP, and i liked that game. I watched tons of videos about metal gear. I decided to get this game since i knew it was really good. I was wrong... it was awesome. The voice acting, the war footage, the character interactions, the gameplay and the music. It all came together perfectly. I dont mind the graphics since i care more about gameplay and i have played a few games from this period (half life, thief 1+2, doom 1+2, etc). I really like the artstyle and the visuals. The codec was a brilliant idea. Overall the game is a 10/10 easily. Would play again.

Metal Gear: Solid has and will always be one of my favourite games. Highly recommended, especially if you remember the old school PS1 games.
