Classic WWI FPS
4 Stars because of the game engine & AI not aging well with modern PC's / CPU's. The Medal of Honor WWII Saga (not including Airborne) is a nostalgia trip worth riding along side the original Call of Duty & United Offensive. For the time, the cinematic battles, orchestra music and narrative drove MoH to a fantastic gameplay experience. For modern systems Win 7 and Higher; youll definitely want to make a stop at PCGamingWiki to make a few tweaks to maximize your experience. i.e. Widescreen resolution, the Unofficial Patch, Audio Patch; etc. They show you how to increase the FPS, particularly for Spearhead. IMO, its best to lock your FPS to 60fps or 30fps. The reason I am saying that, is the games engine heavily utilizes the CPU for running the AI commands on NPC enemies. The higher your FPS the more dangerous the enemies response becomes. For a good portion of playing through this I had the game hitting 200+ fps with everything maxed out. The Enemies were targetting, and picking me off through cracks in debris, through walls or snipers instantly 1-2 tapping. Their response and accuracy drastically increases. Once i locked it to 60 fps they were more like how they played back in the early 2000's when the game launched. A few other games had this kind of issue, like Call of Duty (original & UO xpak) and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Thats due to how the Quake Engine was designed apparently.
