what little there was is kinda fun

It is short. but what there was i wish there was more of. officially there are 30 levels, but at least 3 of them you DON'T BUILD ANYTHING. and another 10ish are turorials which you have are told what to do and given a premade design. The psysics are very rigid and snappy, and different to what i expexted but i actually ended up really enjoying it, and is the reason it is not 1 star. but it doesn't give you a chance to experiment with the ideas and solutions introduced, for example, in the trailer you see a vehicle grab the top of a wall and flip itself to the other side, you let go and drive off. awsome and very fun to do... but that's it, you never do that again :( It feels like a demo of a much better game. and if you are here for story. it's quite good, but also short :( TO THE DEVELOPER. PLEASE can you realse a map editor/maker, that would make it instant 5 stars just playing the evil designs the community come up with would be well worth the price

Way too short for 17€

The game is quite fun, but i played it through in about 3 hours (all 30 levels beat, no skipping, no cheating). That is WAY too little for the price! I feel ripped off... Would only buy this for 1-2 €... I even thought about demanding my money back, but since it ran just fine there is technically no grounds for that. Be smarter than me, don´t buy this for so much money. If you like this kind of game, stick with Besiege (on Steam or elsewhere). That game offers SO much more than this waste of money...

Rebuild your childhood

I played this a little too much through a friends account, because it is just that enjoyable. It taps into the same obsessive builder itch that many first scratched as kids with countless hours with Erector Sets, Lego, K`nex, etc and other "build" toys and later to builder games such as Minecraft. It plays like a merger of those toys and portal. Premise is simple enough, Presented with challenges, figure a way to deal with the challenge, move to the next. Surprisingly there is an understated narrative just below the surface which much like the game itself continues to engage you. The graphics and aesthetics are a perfect fit. Quite eye catching, but at the same time not overwhelming. The surprising part is how well the game is optimized to have such good visuals yet incredibly gentle on system resources. The music is a bit too understated. It fits the environment but it is so subtle and nuanced you likely wont even notice it. Sound effects however are clean and crisp. You might think it would become like most puzzle games and end up repetitive, but the challenges do ramp up fairly quickly and you will need to really put a lot of thought into how to move forward. I look at it like an equivalent of Dark Souls, for puzzles. The challenges are meant to be challenging and they are. I also bought this for my nephew on Steam and he absolutely loves it. So it stands as testament that while still challenging, even a child can do it. Developers also had foresight to include sandbox element but I find that to be a tad bit disappointing compared to the campaign as it seemed to not be fleshed out enough. It adds replay, but it might require the dev to keep adding content to it in order to keep people engaged. So if you want to tap into that childhood builder experience, or want to exercise your synapses, MechoEcho will likely get you all you were looking for and more. Definitely worth your time to check it out and on its own I find it to be worth every penny. Enjoy.

Not fun, horrible story...

I paid all of $2 for this game and regret it. The story is just horrible and doesn't correspond to the world shown at all. The building is very basic (I only made it maybe 5 or 6 levels but there doesn't seem to be much else that hasn't been introduced yet). The difficulty in the couple of levels to that point that had a bit of difficulty was almost entirely based on steering not being very smooth. Kerbal Space Program is much much better even just considering ground vehicle construction (particularly with the Breaking Ground expansion, although even without it). Infinifactory is another good building game (also with a horrible story), although you don't get to drive in that one. Don't waste your time on this one.
