Good potential needs a lot of work

Game looks to have a lot of potential, but on my play through I sent 3 families to mine ore for 6 months to be able to defend my village. In the end I didnt get even one piece of ore and raiders came and just destroyed my village. Sucks to put that much time in to building something just to be screwed over like that. Will return the game and look back into it in a couple years when it hopefully gets better.

Horribly complex resource management

I get that it's still a beta. It's a cool looking game but the resource management and upgrade paths are ridiculously complicated and poorly thought out. You need to revisit that big time. For instance, When trying to upgrade a house to the third tier, the game insists that I need a firewood stall in the marketplace that is only 4 HOUSES AWAY. Um, your toiling surfs have no legs? Not only that but you can't just put a marketplace stall down, it appears through a ludicrous and poorly functioning chain of events. There are dozens of similar games that do a way better job of resource management and and upgrading. Whatever you are trying to achieve, it ain't working.
