The Legend of Zia, The Ubermage
Absolutely amazing game, at first glance looks like an average action adventure, but don't be fooled, this game has a lot of meat on its bones thanks to the spell customization, Zia doesn't need swords , arrows or bombs , she just breaks havoc with her spells, chain them to have a fireball that also does chain lightning, or a dash that freezes enemies on contact, pretty fun stuff. Unfortunately the game doesn't comminicate too well the final effects of a modifier, sure they are pretty intuitive , but once you start experimenting with the "random" modifier you can see it has different effects depending on what you link it to, which only opens more questions about the behavior of other modifiers. Still, it's worth experimenting as much as you can to get some serious firepower. And of course, the world is filled with secrets locked behind puzzles that require you to get creative with your spells. The graphics are nice, the music is relaxing, and the protagonist is a cute redhead, what's there not to love? Great game, I wish we had more like it.
